I know Pastor Jack for my whole life from my teen years. As a teenager, I never expected my friend Jack to become a Pastor, especially a missionary Pastor so far away, but I realized that when GOD calls you, it is a very special calling, and what could be more important than helping others, especially children and bringing Jesus to them!! Pastor Jack and his family are working for the Lord in one of the poorest places in the world and not many people would dedicate their whole lives for a Mission From GOD, so The Father knows who to ask!! I support his mission whenever I can afford it because every little bit helps those who are in need.

Purposely Chosen is a teen parenting ministry that has been around for well over 10 years. I was fortunately to have been around when it was first conceived in the mind and heart of our Pastors ( Dretona Maddox). Over the years I have seen their hard work and commitment shine in the lives of multiples teenage moms and their babies. <br>It has definitely changed the lives of many, especially the babies born and NOT aborted.....<br>Pro-Life <br>Rosita Robinson

I am a proud foster mom to kittens for the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I have done fostering for years, I have been to other places to foster but none have been as wonderful as MSRPAC. The Staff has always been so easy to talk to or ask questions, especially adoption coordinator Aundria. Not just the staff is awesome but they truly help out with fostering needs to help me do a better job. Food, litter, and formula are all readily available in the pantry so that I don't have to use my own money. They make fostering easy and convenient. And to know that the cute kittens I bottle fed and then weaned for 8 weeks went to a great place afterwards makes it so much easier to let them go. A great place!

This is a wonderful non-profit that helps people in the community who need food assistance. They allow volunteers and companies to help in giving a helping hand to those in need to a most basic necessity. I am thankful for their motivation to provide for others.

Organization closed spring of 2013. I as president of Riverside Hospice along with 5 board members resigned April 2012 after discovery of misuse of funds and violation of mission statement as well as my name being forged to a 990 that myself nor any board member had ever seen. Funds were falsified on the 990. <br> <br>Riverside Hospice has been closed for almost two years. <br> <br>On 1-1-2015. Myself and another ex board member were told that the executive director, Rita Best had placed many expensive furniture items on consignment to a store in a neighboring city. Redlands Ca. <br>We went there and found several high end furniture pieces for sale with tags marked. "hospice". The owner, David said that they had had many items from "hospice" on consignment in the previous two years and that several people representing themselves as "Riverside Hospice" had presented themselves along with the exec director, Rita Best who also presented herself as "HOSPICE". The consignment donations were made to "hospice" by a doctor, who I am sure thought he was giving property that he would be able to take as a tax deduction, having given to what he thought was a donations to a not for profit. This donation and placement on consignment occurred at the time the riverside Police department had been told that the organization was closed. <br> <br>The most recent continuation ,of what seems to be sale of items for personal gain, was discovered two days ago. A police report is being made. There are eye witnesses to the storage of these donated items and stated intent to take to said items to "auction or consignment" after the organization closed. There are witnesses to the fact that several rooms of furniture was taken for consignment. On our visit 1-1-15. We photographed sales tags on about 8 items with a total recently reduced sale price of 6,800.00. One set of executive office furniture contained a tag noting that this set retailed for 18K. I believe that the IRS would be interested in the whereabouts of these assets as we are told by a Riverside Hospice ex store manager that the IRS is still questioning the executive director. I am convinced that diversion of assets and personal gain has gone on since the closing of the organization and continues to this day.

Bad bad bad people I stayed 17 years ago I had three children and was 8months pregnant terry verbally assaulted me accused me of smoking crack placed a crack pipe in my room accused me of stealing food Made me and my three small children go work in the back yard with a bunch of cats running around in wich me and my children were allergic to them wouldn’t allow me to use the phone keep food that’s meant for the residents she would sit literally in the trees and say she was watching over everyone I had to escape like a prisoner the only way I got out of there was making an excuse that I had. A welfare appointment terry should face criminal prosecution and should not be allowed to run this shelter !!!! Shame on riverside county with all the reports made and still soo glad for social media now I will be blasting this place all over social media I did not forget about this place pathetic she is

I was a client that lived at New Beginnings. I wasn't going to write anything but when I saw these horrable things that people wrote I could'nt not write anything. I lived at New Beginnings for two years and the staff and the director treated me like I was their family and yes when staff was not doing their job management did get on the staff because as she would often say "the clients there has been through enough and staff was not going to mistreat them on her watch." We got designer items and not no swapmeet stuff. We always had food and trash bags. They would take us out to eat, disneyland, knotts and other cool places. Never was I missed treated I loved this group home and if my daughter ever went into placement I would call them and ask them to take my daughter cause I know she would be treated right.

So many things this ministry does! I am so thankful they exist as I have joined in some of their pro life activities (never heard of them being in KS - maybe that was a long time ago?) in Riverside. They are a blessing for children and (especially) moms & babies alike. I've even taken my kids to a few activities. For those looking for a worthy cause this is the place. Thank you Turn the Hearts!

If you have children interested in theatre, please do yourself and your child a favor and steer as clear as you can from Riverside Youth Theatre. Their tagline touts “creating quality, family-friendly theatre …”, and while I can’t speak earnestly regarding their quality (though if this experience is indicative, it’s probably lacking), I can assure you that they are anything but “family-friendly”. <br>They recently cast for a Spring-time performance of the Sound of Music. A young girl was offered a part, she accepted, and her parents paid the $250 required for her to take part in the performance. She did not get the role she auditioned for, but this was her first time trying out for something like this and she was very excited to, in her own words, “learn and get better”. She attended the first rehearsal and was already asking extended family if they were going to come watch her on opening night. <br>That first rehearsal was on a Monday (12/9). On Tuesday afternoon (12/10), the girl’s mother and father received some unfortunate health news regarding their 6-month-old son. The news they received was not positive to say the least and it became apparent rather quickly that it would lead to numerous follow-up appointments, tests and unknowns for their son. That evening, while still trying to comprehend the information regarding their son, the decision was made to remove the young girl from the production. With the next week of appointments alone, the young girl’s ability to meet the rehearsal requirements would be put in jeopardy and it was determined that it wouldn’t be fair to the young girl or the production. <br>That same evening (12/10), an email was sent to the Artistic Director that indicated the issue (without going into explicit detail regarding the health issue) and requested that the young girl be removed from the production with no ramifications to her future with the group. Information on how to proceed was also requested. The email remained unanswered. It took two more days and two additional emails to elicit a response from the Artistic Director. <br>The third email elicited a short, curt response from the Artistic Director indicating that she would follow up later in the day (to give some credit here, it was indicated that she was currently visiting a sick mother-in-law in the hospital and would reply later). The tone of the response led to an additional email on the young girl’s behalf, which went into much further detail of the health of the young girl’s brother in hopes that it would help the Director to understand the severity of the situation and perhaps show some compassion. <br>This was met with another curt response, no acknowledgement or care for the family’s situation, and only a referral to the packet given out at auditions. <br>Another email was sent asking the Artistic Director to put herself in the family’s shoes and indicating that the unknowns regarding their son’s health would be putting the family in both financial and emotional strain. Understanding was requested, parent to parent. <br>This was the response received: <br>------ Original message------ <br>From: Debbie Wolgemuth <br>Date: Fri, 12/13/2013 7:05 AM <br>To: zFamily [removed for privacy]; <br>Subject:RE: Sound of Music <br> <br>You have to understand where we are coming from after working with parents for over 30 years. <br> <br>Basically, you wasted our time. You grilled me by e-mail after callback and asked lots of questions which I answered to help you make your decision in joining the cast or not. Then both of you asked more questions at the end of Monday's rehearsal. These are all red flags, that you were struggling with the part cast in, which we've experienced over the years. You could have dropped out from the cast on Monday night, no problem. You got cold feet and decided to not participate. We've the gambit of stories over the years of why people want to drop out, especially when their kids don't get the part they want, so that's why these clearly explained expectations were established. <br> <br>Apparently you did not read the expectations contract signed or you would not have contacted me over and over again during the week after you got cold feet and didn't want to participate. <br> <br>I did not appreciate the tone of your e-mails and telephone call either. Very rude. A “family-friendly” organization would not ignore the misfortune of a sick child when presented with it. A “family-friendly” organization would not accuse the family of creating this misfortune to cover up “cold feet”. And, even if policies for refunds were rock solid, a “family-friendly” organization (one that deals with children no less), would acknowledge what the family is going through and offer some sort of compassion. <br>Obviously, this organization did none of this. <br> <br>The email response from Ms. Wolgemuth does a decent job of showing that the vision for their organization posted on their website and in their tagline is only stated not practiced, but I have also posted the entire email exchange on my personal Facebook page for viewing should you like to read the full exchange and form an opinion for yourself. I would also like to clear up a few of the accusations made in the posted response: <br>1) The sole reason for this young girl being pulled from the production was because of her brother’s health. There was no stage fright, cold feet or unhappiness with the part. Those that have seen this little girl perform on stage can attest to the fact that cold feet do not exist to her. She is dedicated to “getting better” and was very excited for the opportunity. They did not drop out on Monday simply because they didn’t get the health news until Tuesday. <br>2) A phone call was left after the third email elicited little response. The tone may have been slightly strained, but if you refer to the emails on my Facebook page you’ll see that the problem with tone and rudeness actually lies with the accuser. <br>And then that last line of her email response. Am I the only one to see the irony in “family-friendly” when a young girl is blackballed from children’s theatre not because of her ability, her diva-ness or even a crazy stage mom, but because her brother’s health issues cropped up a day late for a refund? <br>The audition package from the organization clearly states no refunds past the first rehearsal. I’ll give them that. But it doesn’t state to expect a total lack of compassion from those the organization chooses to let represent it. <br>It was made clear that the young girl will not be considered for casting in any future Riverside Youth Theatre productions. <br>The young girl in question won’t be considering Riverside Youth Theatre as the outlet for any of her future performances either. This is most unfortunate for Riverside Youth Theatre because there will be many and they will be fantastic. <br>Oh, and I couldn’t help but notice that all of the meetings, rehearsals, etc. take place at a church. I’m sure they must have an extra copy of the Good Book lying around. Perhaps on your next rehearsal break it wouldn’t hurt Ms. Wolgemuth to take a few minutes to brush up on those verses pertaining to benevolence and respect for your neighbor? I imagine if you had done that previously, this matter would have been handled with grace and kindness rather than the insensitivity and carelessness that it was.

Today i walked into petsmart thinking I was just going to see all the animlas the have there. come to find out I ended up taking 7 kittens house. Im now their foster parent, for 2 weeks. Thank you sharon for trusting me with these beautiful kittens.

How can you have the audacity to ask for money especially when you are slumlords. I've had two floods ( one on 8/8 and another on 9/30) from backed up sewer water which overflowed from my shower that overflowed for over 8 hours the first time and over 12 hours the second time and no damage was done? No cleanup was performed and my bathroom sink still doesn't work and this is now February.

I have been on five trips with POWER Ministries. They travel along the Texas/Mexico border and serve by feeding the hungry, building houses, churches, school buildings, etc. They are an awesome organization who's goal is simple, "Share the love of God". It's pretty exciting when a group of 45-60 men can coexist, lift each other up and work together to further God's Kingdom. You don't need prior construction experience!

When my daughter was an infant and barely walking, rarely talking, and her her pediatrician, a neurologist and the state department of developmental services didn't catch that she had autism and cerebral palsy, this organization did. That was 22 years ago. They took her in and gave her a scholarship to receive speech and intensive early education services and then they took on the local dept for developmental services to give them the assessments that they missed so that she could receive services. <br>When she was a teenager and didn't have friends, they allowed me to start a group called Capable Girls to help her and others girls like her who were lonely. And she made friends. They never made a dime on it. <br>When there was an toddler murdered in the City of Riverside in 2009 by his mother and they learned that there were no services anywhere in the counties of Riverside or San Bernardino Counties to serve this population, they stepped up and started the Inland Empire Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative - even they had no start up money to do it. <br>They continue to do the day in day out treatment services that they are paid to do, but then the do so much more. Such as operating their own food pantry so that no one goes hungry and providing clothing, toys, bus passes, etc. They never make their clients feel "less than" and they are always willing to step up and serve the under-served population that may be ignored by grant funders.

I want to thank my advocate Tammy.H for being there for my daughter in her tough time. She was kind and very supportive for her. I wish that I was able to contact you and thank you myself.

This non-profit provides a great benefit to Riverside's youth. As the only synchronized swim club in the Inland Empire, it provides amazing coaching, builds a strong commitment and confidence, teaches all ages and levels, and provides financial support to those who need it. The club teaches supporting fellow team mates in what can be a highly competitive environment, and promotes respect. It combines the interests of dance, swimming, teamwork, and sports all into one.

Praise the lord! I thank God for this day. May aim is to help young women as what i have started doing for some time.Most young women they are facing some difficult which they cant help by them self in my country there this early marriage, early pregnance,ignorance.Most women they are abused by their husband , beaten up, and also raped. I have been able to gether 50 women who are victim of this ,i talk to them i find the lawer for them so they have been teached their rights ,also find the medical supervisour to counselling them and advice them about their health. Also i my self teach them the word of God andenterpreneurship and i give them small capital to start small business which will help them to take care of their family. <br>I wish i could assistance or to get help on nonprofit so i can be able to help more women.

My daughter played two seasons with this organization. What really displeased me are the following: <br> <br>1) some of the other teams were stacked, meaning the girls clearly had been playing together for years and we're very good. Our team was all new girls, new to softball and to the organization so when we played these teams we would get slaughtered. This was not very much fun for our girls or good for their confidence and did nothing for their learning abilities. <br> <br>2) some of the coaches of the other teams were so inappropriate for 8 year old girls softball. Yelling and screaming at the girls for errors even when they were clearly going to win. <br> <br>3) parents of the opposing teams cheering and celebrating ewhen the score is something like 16-2. I get it, you want to cheer for our kids but there is a level that is overboard when you have a team of defeated girls and you get them out and there is a overwhelming loud cheer. Okay the poor 8 year old girls know they are going to lose another game, way to rub it in parents. Proper etiquette should be encouraged by the board, coaches, and it is common sense! <br> <br>4) the board members here have to be some of the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. They should be reminded that they are volunteers for the GIRLS and it is not about them.

I have been involved with Community Settlement Association for over 15 years by participating in the excellent community events they sponsor. I am currently on the Board and I'm proud of the work that the staff does for the community. Dynasty has donated 500 to 750 toys for the last 24 years to the children in the Inland Empire through the community center locations as they give their yearly Christmas Parties. Dynasty has been in existance since 1987. We focus on children\s athletic and educational efforts. We have trained over 400 girls in the sport of softball and this enabled them to secure college scholarships. We conitinue need funds to train and provide equiptment please help
