UAF is an absolutely exceptional organization. Every single staff member is not only highly knowledgeable, but genuinely compassionate and committed to helping—no matter the situation. Their level of care, professionalism, and understanding truly sets them apart. As a TNR trapper, it is critical for me to work with a clinic that supports spay/abort procedures for feral cats. This is one of the most effective and humane ways to break the cycle of overpopulation and prevent generations of suffering. UAF consistently provides this service with skill, respect, and zero judgment—something that is incredibly rare and deeply appreciated in this line of work. They have also been a reliable lifeline when it comes to taking in abandoned and surrendered animals. As a rescuer, finding a safe, responsible place for these animals—often with nowhere else to go—is everything. UAF has never let me down. They step in when it matters most and ensure these animals have a chance at better future!

As a Board member, I enjoy knowing that our organization is impacting our community in multiple ways with our programs. It is great to see our Members enjoying their AmeriCorps terms while they are contributing to the conservation and environmental protection. We create employable youth and complete meaningful service projects.

Sherry, Matt, Marie, and the whole team at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce are great! They run great events to network and connect with other local business leaders, they provide a ton of resources for my business, and they provide the database of local businesses to find a service I might need. Not to mention hosting the visitor center. I definitely recommend joining the Chamber if you are a local business in Prescott.

I went to yavapai humane society on March first to adopt two dogs after driving fifty miles to get these dogs . Upon arrival I was told I could not see the animals I came to adopt I knew what dogs I wanted. I was told I need a appointment even though there were no people waiting and one car in the parking lot. These people don't care about the dogs just about time. I would never suggest to anyone to adopt a pet there. There lack of Concern was disgusting they offered a appointment to get the dogs four days later in the afternoon not convenient due to the drive of fifty miles. The humane society cares nothing about the animals but time and appointment Mattered again I don't recommend the agency to anyone . There are more accomodations but other agencies that do care about the dog and the adoption parents and getting a home for the dogs just appointment and money very disheartening organization find another agency that cares

I was involved with this Foundation for 16 years and was always impressed by its devotion to the hospital and its employees. Their dedication helped to provide invaluable services to the community through the Breast Care Center, Pendleton Center, James Family Heart Center, Partners for Healthy Students program, and more. As a rural community, this was extremely important. Their goal was to enable residents to stay in our community for medical services vs traveling 2 hrs for much-needed care. If you are ever looking for a worthy cause, the YRMC Foundation is just that. Caring, supportive and good stewards of your consideration.

I have known Earl and Suzanne for over a decade and have visited the projects in Guatemala. They have sustained an expanded project through support with other nonprofits and donations from foundations and companies. <br> <br>I have seen their gardens and talked with the people. Gary Beverly, the Chair and deceased board member, Gordon Bond have been our valuable consultants to Prescott Valley, AZ activists for more than 2 years. They have encouraged developers and town council members and the town manager to make water conservation plans to balance our water supply. The town is considering a draft ordinance requiring future rental developments to secure water rights which were not required under the Arizona Water Loophole Law. <br>CWAG continues to provide our region with water education programs, focusing on the preservation of the oldest perennial river (Verde River) in Arizona. They invite water management guest speakers to their programs. They publish articles in newspapers, write a weekly newsletter, and meet with regional managers and state leaders

I had known Cindy and Bill as my neighbors, but I had no idea how wonderful the Sanctuary was, right in our backyard. Cindy’s mother, Bonnie told me about the dogs, and my husband and I couldn’t wait to volunteer. What an amazing place. All of the dogs live in the main house. No cages, and there are 6 acres for the dogs to roam. Homemade meals with supplements for each dog, and hydrotherapy is provided. Most of these dogs were hours away from euthanasia, and are so appreciative of their new surroundings. We are so happy to be volunteers.

We had the misfortune of being evacuated from our home in Walker, AZ on April 19th, due to the Crooks Fire. We have poultry - chickens and ducks - and after we penned them up and moved them out, we had no idea what to do with them. A neighbor told me about LASER, so I contacted them and learned that their emergency shelter was opening in Prescott Valley near Arizona Downs. This was such a God-send in such a stressful time! We could not have asked for better care. LASER’s amazing volunteers were there 24/7 feeding, cleaning the pen and spending quality time with all our poultry. All our “girls” and our rooster felt right at home and were obviously at ease as their laying eggs didn’t stop. We cannot thank everyone at LASER enough for everything they did for us!! - Kelli Zeller, Resident of Walker, AZ

Wonderful place! The children were incredibly grateful and appreciated everything so much.

I was a tenant in one of their Second Chance house for over 18 months. A year ago I was diagnosed with kidney failure, and after that had a stroke. After my kidney failure I ended up having to pay rent twice in one month because they "LOST" my rent. In April I could no longer work. My rent was paid by various local churches. In October they received half of my rent from one local church, !ND was promised the other half by St. Vincent de Paul. Because my rent was late, I was evicted. CCJ evicted a sick woman, awaiting a disability determination, out of one of their houses, just 2 days before my 55th birthday, and 3 days before our first winter snow (which we had been warned about for over a week), to have to live on the streets. Remember, my rent was covered. Where is the COMPASSION or JUSTICE in that kind of treatment? They are not a non-profit, they want their money, no ifs, ands, or buts.

I have been working closely with the PUSD Education Foundation for the past 6 months and I have seen firsthand how invaluable their service to this community is. The Education Foundation provides the school district with much-needed technology and school supplies, and despite the challenges of the COVD-19 outbreak they continue to go above and beyond in their work. I am happy to have helped them in the mission to maintain and advance PUSD's reputation as a top-quality school district. Go Badgers!

I have worked with horses for thirty years in Saratoga Springs and upstate New York. I am considered professional in all areas of horsemanship. To tell my areas of expertise would be lengthy and I would rather show what I can do with a horse.<br>I am retired from the industry as a professional, but capable of doing whatever<br>I am asked to do. I retired in Prescott, and live in Prescott lakes.

Our son has been attending Boys to Men group events for about a year and a half now and he always has a positive experience full of quality mentoring and friendship! It’s really helpful to teen boys to have a group like this to confide in and learn from. Thank you Boys to Men for all you do, we appreciate you!

Regarding the beautiful break from the city of Prescott to Chino Valley, with its cattle, wildlife, pronghorns and bird life on the James's Deep Well Ranch; is the CALT Inc too busy with Granite Dells to try raising funds; requesting a green belt along this stretch? Of course it would forever be a historic landmark for Yavapai County and the James family. <br> <br>Phoenix Arizona neighbors and myself grew up riding below Piestewa Peak, formerly Squaw Peak. A group of concerned citizens forever changed/preserved this mountain break that so many enjoy, between the cement slabs and wilderness. Here is a sample from their first efforts that included work on commissions, bonds, elections etc. "It started in earnest in 1971 when the Western Saddle club, Mayor Driggs, Councilman etc. had a cowboy breakfast and ride that began a successful preservation of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve." Shouldn't Yavapai County and quad-city residents seize the moment to do likewise? Thank you.

This institute is clearly NOT a non-profit, although it benefits as one. <br>If you are a Christian then all is well. If not, watch out. Especially our public school children who are not supposed to hear Christian doctrine. FAIR (Foundation for Asthma & Immune Research, a 501c3 Charitable <br> Trust) was originally formed in 1988 "to provide an environmentally <br> and ecologically safe location for people with multiple chemical <br> sensitivities (MCS) and/or respiratory disabilities to obtain <br> temporary housing and recreational services to assist in their <br> rehabilitation and subsequent return to a cautiously normal <br> lifestyle."
