All three of our cats are Cozy Cat Cottage rescues. I especially appreciated how they followed up with us a few weeks after adoption to see how the cats were faring, offered advice and suggestions as needed, and really showed they cared about the cats’ welfare long term.

100% of all donations go to directly support children and families affected by childhood cancer. Support varies based on family need and includes financial support, family events such as an annual family picnic and Christmas train ride and fulfilling wish lists.

On two occasions over the last several years, I have been an active member of this organization, first as it was known as Forty Plus of Central Ohio, and later, in 2012, as it was in the midst of a corporate name change to Career Transition Institute. In both cases, I found myself having been released from employment (due to conflict with a nonprofit Board Chairperson, and acquisition by a larger nonprofit of the agency that recruited me 2-years earlier to salvage their operating program, respectively) as a professional administrator over the age of 50, and deeply in need of assistance to build my electronic job search skills top effectively compete in today's marketplace. <br> <br>The educational curriculum and training program offered by 40-Plus, and later, Career Transition Institute were exceptionally helpful in guiding my efforts to formulate a plan-of-action, secure multiple interviews, and to successfully land (twice) professional leadership positions. <br> <br>While I benefited greatly from the curriculum and training modules, the most important aspect of this organization to support my job search process was the camaraderie among members that was modeled and nurtured by the Voluntary Leadership Team. This genuine, personal support of, and care for those utilizing the organization's facilities, equipment, mentoring resources, networking events, community collaborations and the educational program was phenomenal...to say the least..!

As a board member of this non-profit, I would like to take the opportunity to promote the educational benefits of this organization. With the economy like it is today, the opportunity exists for families to save money off their food budget by using the techniques develoed and taught by Carol and her team. By spending a little time each week couponing, planning menus and reviewing sales fliers a family can save a lot of money over the course of the month on their food budget. This savings could be used to start a saving plan, pay off existing bills or save for a necessary item. The techniques taught in the classes are life altering because they will be used more than once and for the rest of your life. So why not make a change in your life by supporting Budget Meals and taking control of your food budget!

Hello my name is Nathan , and in 2003 I was attacked and beaten by four men in Port Clinton Ohio. I was hospitalized for 2 months . They stomped me so bad after knocking me out, that I had to have a colostomy bag. The detectives got a perfect shoe print off of my face. My knee was stomped which was replaced in 2018.I have put together a packet with police reports,witness statements,and pictures.Everything is documented.My mental health and physical health has declined since that night. 5 months after I was attacked I was arrested and charged with assault. I never been to jail before so I did not know how to fight this in court. I plead no contest to my charges and ultimately served 6 months in jail. That is a whole other story. I never knew to this day what happened to my attackers. But needless to say I will never go back to Port Clinton ohio. I was denied justice. And now 18 years later I am seeking answers . I love the time that I spend volunteering at the Columbus Zoo. I get to help inform visitors of the great conservation projects that the zoo helps support. Talk to visitors about the animals and what they can do at home to help the animals still in the wild.

Fantastic group of dedicated volunteers who assisted us with low cost vitamins and supplies for low income women who needed support during their unplanned pregnancies. These guys and gals all work their usual jobs yet take time out of their weeks to assist many centers around the country....
