I had such a great experience today at the Waterford, Michigan store thanks to Phillip! From the moment I walked up to his register, he was friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely engaging with every customer he helped. He kept the line moving while still making people feel welcomed and appreciated. His sense of humor and positive attitude made the shopping experience enjoyable, and you can tell he truly cares about customer service. Employees like Phillip are hard to find. He represents your store extremely well and creates the kind of atmosphere that makes customers want to come back. His professionalism, energy, and ability to interact so naturally with customers show that he has wonderful opportunities ahead within the company. I hope his hard work and positive attitude are recognized — he absolutely deserves it! Rain

These people really love minors lol if you’re over the age of 18 they’re not interested in helping or talking advantage of you.

I am a donor and today I received an invitation to their fundraiser, sponsored by a Cannabis (marijuana) company and a Tequila brand. Care House is supposed to be concerned about child neglect and abuse and here they are promoting drugs and alcohol that are proven to cause cognitive impairment including violence. Most child abuse cases involve parents / guardians with drug and alcohol abuse. This is shameful. Soliciting sponsors that cause the very harm they claim to want to prevent. They lack integrity and I will support organizations helping our children that don't promote drugs and alcohol.<br>

They do so much to help help the local community! They help educate urban communities on sustainable urban agriculture, as well as help to cultivate green stormwater infrastructure!, they are super friendly and do their best to reach out to and encourage the local community to get involved!

Take One Community Program has been very beneficial and a great influence of character education for our children. When we needed help with tutoring and home work their team of educators supported us.

My son has struggled with a mental health diseased which he'd lived shame while being in denial most of his youth. <br> In elementary school his issues of frustration not being able to concentrate caused him to withdraw. Myself his mother blamed myself for the difficulty he went through yet today I'm proud of his recovery ability to overcome strength the fact how so many young men who went through what he did fallen by the way side, but he found away to learn how to love and cherished his children mother and become an wonderful father who teaches his children value and respect for others.<br>He has a daughter in the united state army. A son who is about to attend college and his younger son is junior high school student. The most wonderful thing I personal witnessed that is so special delightful and miraculous the raising of their special need daughter . She was born blind with mental and physical disabilities. At birth they were told she wouldn't live long. That she will never walked. After she got older they were told she needed to be institutionalized. But her parents said no. As a baby she suffered with many cost call but through the love she was given by both parent affection and dedication she is now 20 years old. For the first time in their lives through everything they been through and has over come as a family they just recently been blessed with a nice home. They have beds and recently were able to purchase a refrigerator but the rest of there home is empty. My son is an Easter seal client yet they have been overwhelmed with to many people and unable to assist him. I read the stories regarding the excitement the families experience when entering there home after Humble Design have completed applying their dedication and work toward making a house into a home. No one have never done anything for my son. It would mean the world to me to see the joy in the lives of my son his wife and children. i would love to volunteer my service to Humble Design Organization. Thank you

my name is dan and I live right across the street from the baldwin center I have offered my help and was refused by liz for what ever reason I have 3 vehicles and offered to pick up the food for them and my help was turned down liz told Patrick that I was not ever going to be one of there people and the people that depend on the harvest table have had to go with out simply because liz refused to let me help I amd retired and nothing to do except try and help out I have no idea what her problem is with me I wish I did I heared she threw my paper work out I guess she would rather the people go with out than let me help!!! all I want to do is to try and help make a difference maybe she doesn't like the fact that im handycapped!!!

Her surgeon has never seen anything like this before and we know it is Fatima's determination and the intensive PT that literally is changing her life. Our family actively supports the Euro-Peds Foundation and its mission to provide treatment and travel grants for more kids like Fatima to access this amazing therapy. We host fundraisers, secure donors and participate in any way we can to raise awareness. We say Euro-Peds is our family and we mean it. We love the therapists and know they care for Fatima and all the kids as if they are their own. We want to help Euro-Peds Foundation raise $10,000 before the end of the year to help more kids in 2017. Please join us!

Power Company Kids Club <br><br>~An organization that is changing lives one child at a time in the 7th most violent city in America. <br><br>The Power Company Kids Club in Pontiac, Michigan is a faith based non-profit that seeks to promote the emotional, physical, spiritual and social well-being of at-risk children of our inner cities. <br><br>My husband and I have been supporting <br>Power Company Kids Club for several years both financially and through volunteering. In the summer I am blessed daily to run the kitchen. Over 100 smiling faces receive breakfast and lunch prepared by many volunteers. <br><br>During the school year, each Saturday 100's of children are bused to their facility. They participate in songs, Nickelodeon style games, and a time of directional teaching...stay in school, say no to drugs, eliminate racism. <br><br>During the week each child is visited by his or her bus captain. A time to further build relationships with the children and families. <br><br>They take their Character Building Assemblies to the schools to further promote integrity, respect and kindness.<br><br>In the summer, Leadership Academy. Focus on high-energy, interactive leadership enrichment courses, sports, field trips plus 2 meals. Also in the summer, Power Company in the Hood. The Saturday program is taken to several neighborhood parks. <br><br>College Scholarships. Team assistants who maintain necessary requirements are eligible to receive up to $7000 in college scholarships from PCKC. <br><br>Taking it to Detroit. This past summer, PCKC took to the streets of the Brightmoor area. 94% of the children live below the poverty line. They are innocent victims of generational poverty and despair. They are hungry, hopeless, exposed to violence, gangs and drugs. <br><br>Project Christmas Joy. This year they will distribute over 3,000 gifts to children in Pontiac and Detroit. I am questioning the financial status of this non-profit organization under the executive direction of Teresa Rodges. She claims that she founded this organization in 2007, when the actual organization was founded in 2004 and Mr. John Riley was still alive. He passed away in 2005.

Redeemed Christian Center (R.C.C) is a wonderful Non-Denominational based family oriented Church with its outreach priorities in building the community thru biblical belief and loving care. Established in 1991 under Bishop Kenneth R. Anthony and Pastor Sylvia A. Anthony, thru its many outreach programs and community functions has become a true pillar of the City of Pontiac and surrounding areas.

My husband and I had a 2 year old and we were living with his parents because we didn't have enough credit to purchase a home. Habitat for Humanity of Oakland county not only gave us an intrest free loan for a beautifully built home but they gave us the knowledge to understand how to maintain our home both fiscally and structually. I was blessed enough to have them put us through finacial classes and they spent hours of their time to answer my endless questions. I enjoyed being apart of the process to refurbish my own home and it felt good to know this was a way to help my family and not just feel weird about a handout, we're just not good with those. I can think of no other organization that cares more about it's community and helps families with the most basic essentials a family needs to thrive, Knowledge, a debit free start, and beliefe in humanity.

OLHSA does a fine service in Livingston County, providing help with heating costs, helping low income people find housing, and counseling services. The staff there go above and beyond to help people. The Walk for Warmth gets bigger each year and brings in more money to help people. They have helped many people obtain weatherization services in this bad economy.
