If you are in desperate need of help don't call them. This is the second time in 6 years I have tried to get help from this place. The first time we were told to sell belongs to get the money for what we needed.

I adopted my beautiful pup from them over 5 years ago and she is the absolute best dog

My name is Victoria and i have been with The Forgotten Ones for about 3 years now and honestly i wouldn't trade a single day of any of it. The owner Cindy is an amazing women with a truly blessed heart that gives every ounce of energy she has to help anyone she can. The stories that i have heard from everyone that she has helped touches my heart in ways that is indescribable. I have learned many life lessons through her and it has changed my life for the better and there is nothing that I wouldn't do for her. She started this ministry with nothing giving everything that she has and doesn't expect anything in return.

More hope, more access to services, more information to guide you through the path of Stroke survival! I am so grateful to Deanna and Craig and the whole team at Scott Coopersmith Awareness Foundation for giving us the opportunity to share our story along side of theirs (my son is a stoke survivor having survived a stroke at 2 days old). I have been honored to watch the huge impact they have had in our community and beyond these past ten years. Their dedication to helping others while keeping Scott's memory alive is so inspiring. I was so honored to have been able to be a small part of the event that provided a local family new hope. I knew a member of this family personally yet had no idea of the hardship their father's stroke had caused on this wonderful family. Without SCSAF, this family, along with other numerous brave and inspirational survivors I have had the honor of meeting along the way through SCSAF, would not be in such a positive place today.

This foundation helps so many local people living with Cystic Fibrosis. They are always volunteering themselves for other organizations, all while raising money to help raise awareness and make a CURE FOUND!!! <br><br>The products are one-of-a-kind and make the most personal special gifts (and for myself)!! I highly recommend - your purchases and donations go a LONG way toward helping others.

Agree with the prior review. I've never dealt with such rude people. They were ugly and rude for no reason at all. When you try to help by giving other parents a copy of the schedule? Get yelled at. Need to know if pads are provided? Get snapped at. Haven't received a schedule and its game week? You'll get 8 emails back and forth deflecting the question and never get an answer and then literally be dismissed by them. The male and his wife that run everything are the worst. The blonde. Rude. There is another lady that is also pretty bad. They also refused to let my mother into a game with her bottled water that she needed for her medication. Never ever met such a group of unhappy miserable people for a "good cause". They need to get off their high horse. The individual teams may be better, but CFYFL is garbage. I suggest Pop Warner.

My name is Sheila , live in Apopka Fl and Im a 47 year old married woman with a 6 year old son and 2 other sons ages 22 and 23. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of this year. We had no insurance and we were spending a fortune on gas driving back and forth for treatments. We were falling behind on all of our bills. My husband Eddie contacted Vanesa and Compassionate Hands and Hearts came out to our home on June 30th and changed my life and gave our family hope. They paid 2 months mortgages for us and gave us a $200 gift card and a bag full of goodies. What they really did was give me hope. Vanessa Echols saved our home and we can never express how grateful we really are. They've lifted my spirits.

Although it's been many years since I was a youth in Boys Town, this place still haunts me. It's deeply affected my ability to trust my intuition and navigate the world. Their model is brainwashing, and didn't help me; it only hurt me. I left there with CPTSD and an eating disorder, worse off than before I went there. I was just a kid who was having a hard time. I wasn't dangerous. I wasn't breaking laws. I was just depressed and needed love. No one deserves to be locked away against their will with their autonomy entirely taken from them. Boys Town promises a "Family Environment" when, in reality, all they give you is adults who treat you like laborers and emotional punching bags. If there's one thing I've learned to be true it's that putting anyone in complete power over helpless, struggling kids in an isolated environment with no consequences for their actions creates unhealthy and unsafe power dynamics that ruin lives. Their "evidence-based research" is all biased (they do the research themselves, so of course they are going to say good things about it). The organizations that give them their Accrediations are also almost entirely made up of board members who either currently work at Boys Town or have in the past--just look at the work history of the Teaching-Family Association's (TFA) Executive Director. Her career started at Boys Town and includes many other unsafe Teen Treatment centers. Any organization that has a net worth of over 1.5 Billion dollars can afford to treat the children they serve without a shred of humanity or compassion and pay for the good reviews and biased accreditations. Spend your money elsewhere; putting it here only pays to hurt more kids.
