Seager Memorial is an exceptional non-profit clinic located in the heart of Ogden, Utah. As a volunteer, I have had many pleasant interactions with the Northern Utah community following their time at the clinic. I believe our customers leave satisfied with the healthcare they receive, in part due to the transparency of the clinic management regarding the extent of our capabilities. Our patients understand the clinic’s limitations but I believe they know the staff tries their best to give them the care they need. The clinic staff are remarkable workers and they routinely sacrifice time to make sure the community keeps this great resource.

I've been teaching Square Foot Gardening for the last four years to children at the Rahway, New Jersey YMCA. The gardening techniques are easy to understand and simple to implement and completely natural and organic. Our Square Foot Gardening program for the Y continues to strengthen and is poised to become a prototype for other Y's to duplicate. Sincerely, Bob Markey-Certified Square Foot Gardening Instructor.

Our Mission: Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. We are investing in Dreams.<br><br>Soroptimist International of Ogden, UT (SIO) was chartered on 27 May 1939 by Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA), a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Since 1921, SIA has grown to about 1,300 clubs in 21 countries and territories throughout the world. We have been recognized as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with a permanent seat at the United Nations.<br><br>The SIO service area is women living in Cache, Box Elder, Weber, Morgan and northern Davis counties. Our focus is helping women achieve economic empowerment through education. We have given the Live Your Dream Award since 1972, to more than one hundred women for well over $80,000. We will continue to give the award annually as it is the major element of our organization's Dream Program. We are recognized by SIA for outstanding management of our program. In our 80th year, we received the Mattie Wattis Harris Rose Award for Volunteer Organizations from Your Community Connection and we were honored by the Ogden City Council in 2019 for continued excellence in supporting the residents of Ogden, Utah.<br>

As a board member i have enjoyed being a part of the Lantern House (St. Annes Center). It has been a great experience for me to be a part of.

My husband volunteered with this organization. The people he dealt with are not in it for the money. They put their heart and soul into the projects to maximize the benefit to the community and use their resources the best way they can. They have so little and they truly work miracles. The project manager was such an amazing person and has a great heart. We support them as much as we can.

Cottages of Hope is an active part of the Ogden community, assisting all who are interested in gaining a liveable wage, increasing your credit score, educating on 40% debt to income ratio and the importance of having 3-6 months emergency savings. Since beginning my term as Board Treasurer in June of 2014 I have worked with the Board of Directors to establish, implement, and execute the mission and vision of the organization while also creating policies that ensure the organization operates at the highest of ethical standards. The Board of Directors is committed to conducting the business of our organization in a way that is consistent with the values that guide our organization's actions.

The GOAL Foundation is so involved in our community! They stand by their name, "Get Out And Live." If there is a race, downtown celebration, important cause, you can bet GOAL is there to support it. Most importantly, The GOAL foundation gathers and organizes volunteers in a spectacular way! If an event comes to town, they know they can get the best people by working with GOAL. Volunteers are appreciated, well informed, and are excited to help in every way! I've had the honor to participate in any number of racing events sponsored by GOAL, including the Ogden Marathon. They team up with local businesses to make sure participants have great and useful swag (nutrition, first aid supplies, etc.). They take pictures of EVERYTHING! My most favorite volunteer opportunity was with the Xterra Triathlon and it's on my permanent calendar as long as The GOAL Foundation is responsible for the volunteers.

OWCAP fills a much needed role in Weber County, and specifically the Ogden area. It has been a pleasure to volunteer my time to help assist these dedicated workers provide support for the community!

Transitioning from a participant to a mentor was both humbling and empowering. It gave me a new perspective on the challenges faced by young people today. I learned leadership skills that I never knew I possessed, as I guided others through their own journeys. The experience taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and active listening—skills that have enriched my life far beyond the walls of the program. <br> <br>Being part of Youth Impact has equipped me with practical skills like project management, teamwork, and communication. Each session offered hands-on activities that encouraged critical thinking and creativity. I found myself not only growing personally but also contributing to the growth of others, which was incredibly fulfilling. <br> <br>This nonprofit program is a beacon of hope for many young people. It creates a nurturing environment where dreams can be nurtured and realized. I am profoundly grateful for the impact Youth Impact has had on my life. Dirty cops. Wade and rock. Never would i think that what has happened would actully happen. How i can have wade on recording lying a lot 4 different times. Then to have my assult with bodily injury case assisned by rock to wade when he is already investigating (or not investatgating) a case that would be a conflict of interest. When i asked why abd didnt tgey have any other investigators i was told they had a few but to give wade a chance. That was to kill my case to protect a murderer that has money to oay people off. I was never contacted by him about my case untill the very end when he calles to inform me that they were not pursuing my case. i asked why and he hung up. SO AS THE SHERIFF ACTS LIKE HE IS DOING A GOOD JOB HIS MEN ARE DOING HORRIBLE THINGS. LETTING murders walk free. Actually defending murders wtf. I never thought there were dirty cops like i wanted to be a cop before this now i wouldn't want to be one if my life depeneded on it.

This non-profit takes donations in kind and cash and says ithelps with medical needs in other countries. IIt accepts donations and sells the donations and keeps the money for themselves. <br>Don't do business with them. It's a scam.

The Ogden Symphony Ballet Association has served Northern Utah for nearly 70 years, bringing world-class classical music and dance to Ogden. This past year, the OSBA presented 17 concerts, offered 41 outreach classes, and generated over 3,000 volunteer hours, while serving over 18,000 patrons. It truly is one of Utah's nonprofit gems that enriches the community in myriad ways.

I applied for help through this organization for mobility aids for my 90 pound German Shepherd Dog. I am disabled and having a disabled Dog with 'Degenerative Myelopathy really 0ut a financial burden on my fixed income. The Foundation raises awareness about this disease and they have a wheelchair and harness lending program that loans these expensive supplies to those in need. Please show your support to the Cure for DM Foundation wheels to help me program by giving a generous donation or a used doggie wheelchair or harness today. <br> <br>I have since become s volunteer for the Foundation and the next DM Awareness event I am attrnding will be at the L.A.
