The Piggyback Foundation helped my family maintain the normalcy for our children while I battled breast cancer. They focused on family and creating memories. They were amazing.<br>Now I am proud to say that I am a working board member for this awesome foundation.

Words alone cannot describe how wonderful this program is. Not only for the students but for the volunteers. <br>My daughter and I volunteered with Stampede of Dreams this past spring and summer and had an amazing experience. The level of training we received before the program started far exceeded our expectations. We were more than ready and excited once the students began their lessons. <br>The changes it made in the students lives was immeasurable. Students that began with fear left with smiles and confidence. Having little control over their disabilities and then having control of a 1200 pound horse gives a person a whole different perspective of what they can do over what they cant. <br>The relationship between my daughter and I improved greatly because together we felt part of a team that was making a difference in peoples lives and in turn it made a difference in ours.

at 16 years old i found myself pregnant and in the worse situation i could have ever been in .. my father and mother took me to harbor house and allowed me to meet the best people that could have ever stepped foot into my life .. <br>from the moment that i stepped foot into the home i was welcomed with love and a new weight on my shoulders .. witch later became that i needed to realize who my lord and savior was ... <br> <br>they led me to God.. They showed me my options between adoption and raising my son.. and had me write out pros and cons and pray hard about my choice. <br>never one time did they make me feel like i had to place my son... <br>they always made sure that i knew i had another option.. <br>however in my situation i wasn't able to raise a child nor would i attempt to raise a child due to the face i didn't know how to be a mom and i didn't want my child to struggle while i had to figure out how to get my life together within the few months that i had left before he would arrive.. <br>they helped me pick the perfect family for my little peanut and i was able to do an open adoption so now i can see talk to and love my son still... <br>i couldn't have asked for a better family and for that alone i am forever grateful <br> <br>after my adoption when i had no where else to go because nobody wanted me .. they allowed me to stay there and thought me so many different life skills and showed me so many different things.. <br> <br>these people loved me unconditionally and whole hearted along with every other teen that came in there they always made us feel as though we were apart of the family.. because we were and still are .. they would do anything for me 7 years later and anything for any of the teens previous to me <br>
