Hello, My name is Joshua Dailey, and I’m writing to seek assistance in retrieving my 2004 Yukon XL from the impound lot. It’s been there since March 20, 2026. I’m currently on a fixed income and unemployed. I receive government housing assistance and am trying to eliminate my sole source of income, which I acquired in the last six months. My truck was my primary mode of transportation to and from work, and I also travel to visit my daughter, who lives in Hibbing, Minnesota. My cash job provides me with gas money and allows me to engage in activities while we’re together in Hibbing, Minnesota. Due to this unexpected loss, I’m facing a difficult situation. I love volunteering with JOSH. Sending care packages to deployed military men and women is a tangible expression to boost their morale. It is a specific gift to individuals. I grew up in a military family many years ago . There was nothing like this for my father and his shipmates.

I found The Sharing Center as a Thrift Shop Customer and have been volunteering in the Thrift Shop and other areas for longer than I can remember, around 20 years. I know the customers and love to help them find what they need and display the merchandise. It is so rewarding to know that an overwhelming percentage of our earnings goes right back into the community.

I’ve had the pleasure of being on staff at Feeding Children Everywhere for a year and a half. In this time I experienced a change in management. Our current leader inspires and continually develops the team that already has such heart for the mission. Across all levels of the team there is an understanding that it’s going to be people first. The forefront thought is always, how can we best serve our recipients? There is such a commitment to the mission of serving others and helping create a hunger-free world. It’s easy to fall in love with the movement that is happening at Feeding Children Everywhere.

This is not a great non profit. The leaders are petty and thoroughly unprofessional. We took our family on a spring break trip to Costa Rica. The community partners were great. After a hard day of work including extra contributions on our part to complete a project, we were invited to the home of a community partner. We thought nothing of accepting after asking our group leader to join us (Vanessa had left this leader in charge because she had a more important group to attend to)<br>The host offered wine and one of our group thought it polite to accept one glass. The group leader said nothing at the time but reported it to Vanessa and partner. They sent a college intern to chastise us and tell us the family was no longer a part of the trip. They refused to meet with us face to face. Seriously, they left us in the middle of Costa Rica to fend for ourselves. Fortunately, we had already planned to be apart from the group on our own and scheduled transportation. The saga continued with many more unprofessional and petty incidents. I’ve volunteered many times in multiple countries and have never experienced more dysfunctional leadership. I would never travel with this org again and be warned not to work for them unless you want to see how not to lead.

I have served on this Board for four years and became involved after attending one of the signature education programs NAMI offers as a way of learning more about my daughter's mental illness. I was so changed by the experience that I became more involved with the Organization in an attempt to give back. In addition to serving on the Board, I am a certified Family-to-Family education teacher, and I am a public speaker for the Organization. We are a dedicated Board of Directors with a strong sense of fiduciary responsibility to our members and donors. All of our education and support programs are offered at no charge.

I have been with this charity since the beginning. They are goal driven, have an inspiring vision, and are always looking for ways to educate that encourage positive change for the future. Everything is science based. No sensationalized claims, no partisanship, and no drama. We are passionate about what we do and have accomplished so much in a short period of time. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Five Blue Pearls Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides college scholarships to deserving high school students in the Seminole County area.

We drive from Brevard County every Sunday because there is no other orchestra that even begins to compare to the FYAO. With two children in four orchestra groups of FYAO, this is an all-day affair and we could not be happier. Dr. Alvaro Gomez has been an inspiration to my older daughter and she is now developing into an incredible musician because of him. He sets a very high bar and it's incredible to watch these Symphony Orchestra kids play music that is challenging to many professional orchestras. Just search for the Bravo Concert of 2014 on You Tube, where they played Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky with a level of musicianship that is rarely heard from young musicians. That's what setting a high bar with the love of music at the forefront of it all gets you. <br> <br>My younger daughter has played under the baton of Sherry Pollock and her Sinfonia Orchestra and is now playing under Randall Love in Philharmonic. Ms. Pollock has been teaching Suzuki Strings in Central Florida for over 35 years and was a founding member of the FYAO who left for a few years but has returned and is taking her group of budding string musicians to new levels. <br> <br>Mr. Love has been doing a phenomenal job at finding just the right level for his orchestra of middle school students, whose talents and training range a wide gamut.

I drive 9 miles to donate anytime I donate because I know that The Sharing Center is impacting my local county. When I go to TSC they have a diverse patronage, they have created community partners in their complex for health care, domestic violence and community meal with a neighboring resturaunt. This is all in addition to their thrift store, drop in homelessness services, food pantry and case management. This is where I donate from my home and wallet.

Give hope foundation helped my son in the summer of 2013. He was fighting childhood cancer and was inpatient in the hospital while his teenage friends were having a great time out of school. Give hope brought a smile to his face that we as parents had not seen in a couple months, priceless. They gifted him an iPad to help keep in contact with his friends and have an escape while in treatment. They also helped my husband and I with gas cards and grocery cards. Great people and friends at this organization.

After losing two family members to cancer within eight months of each other I decided to go visit Moments House and see what this cancer support place was all about. I walked in to a warm, inviting, home like place. I was greeted by the co-founder of Moments House and she explained to me about her dream and what she wanted to accomplish. I knew what my family members went through and how hard it was for the entire family and their friends. That day I entered Moments House I knew I wanted to be able to give back and help a cancer patient, their caregiver, family and friends. Cancer not only affects the person who is ill but those all around them. Moments House is there to help each and everyone that is affected by cancer. Some of the things they do are rides to treatments, settling someone after a hospital stay, activities to help them have fun and think of something besides their illness, support group meetings for patients and family members, beauty products like wigs, scarves and many more things to help ease some of the pain and discomfort of being ill. Home made blankets for chemo treatments and inspirational notes on hand painted rocks. They are there if someone needs to come in for a talk, a shoulder to cry on, or just to come in for a visit and a cup of coffee. Sometimes it's the little things that help brighten someone's day even for just a "moment". If you, a family member or friend is diagnosed with cancer Moments House is a place to go for comfort, answers to questions you may have or to be guided in the right direction to get the best answers or help you may need. We need help from everyone to keep this dream alive so that " No one faces cancer alone" and we can continue to help as many people as we can!
