I am very impressed with Assistance League of Inland North County. With our charitable donations from ReThread Kids' Charity, I have gotten to seen first hand at how the clothes are organized and distributed. Their volunteer staff is amazing and their philanthropies are so helpful for those students going into nursing school and other programs. This League is a self sustaining league. They receive and in turn give back to the community and that's what it is all about. They have my highest rating as a nonprofit and I am honored to know them through my family's charity.

I was following the OTTB from Louisiana just before all the mud started to get stirred up about them. At the time I had set aside funds to donate and help them out. I decided to wait for all the mud to clear first. The mud has not settled and it seems to be getting worse. I am the type of person that likes to go to the source for answers so recently I posted some questions on Hicaliber's face book page. I did not get answers from any of the rescue's administration, and instead my questions and comments were removed. If a rescue claims to be transparent it should not have been an issue to answer my questions and address my concerns. This is just my opinion.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I had just become homeless for under a week and learned that Interfaith provides paperwork for free IDs- so I took them up on the offer. ‘They’ filled out the paperwork for me to give the DMV (address, etc) then told me it could take up to 2 and a half weeks to receive the ID (no problem!). A month later and my ID still hasn’t arrived so I was told to call the DMV, to which I did. The DMV had verification that they had sent my ID to Interfaith on the 9th and that Interfaith SENT IT BACK (this wasn’t found out until the 26th of that same month by the way). Now my car was towed a day or two after becoming homeless, and because of them sending my ID back to the DMV and never telling me I was never able to get my car OR my things out of it (my mothers ashes, my grandfathers ashes, my grandfathers military flag). Because of Interfaith I lost all of those forever. Now I’m forced to wait ANOTHER 2 and a half weeks to get my ID sent BACK to interfaith. I had a job orientation on the 9th of last month but wasn’t able to start because Interfaith said my ID wasn’t there- come to find out it was there the day of my orientation. I’m trying to work and Interfaith has directly made that next to impossible. But hey, at least they said “sorry.” That’s ALL they said. I should go to every News station, news outlet, and sue over this. There is only one person at Interfaith that I trust- and he knows who he is. To him: thank you for all you’ve done. Genuinely

As an endangered plant biologist with a state agency, I have been watching the growth of the CPC consortium for two decades. The majority of my experience has been with staff and programs of the Chicago Botanical Garden. Their mission is wider than ex situ propagation. Our program has turned informally to colleagues in member institutions for guidance in locating experts, information on species taxonomy, and climate change modeling. The Chicago Garden's annual symposia are one of the best opportunities for plant conservation professionals to gain exposure to the work of colleagues and new issues in plant conservation. However, CPC is not the only organization that addresses rare plant conservation. We have been lucky in the level of dialogue we've established with the Chicago Botanical Garden. As an outside professional reviewer, my greatest concern is that recognition of the complementary role of other NGOs and agencies by CPC affiliates appears to be a bit erratic.

Ecovivarium is one of the most heartfelt / genuine non-profits I've ever interacted with. These people really do work their hardest to care for these animals, and educate the public. <br><br>The tenacity, dedication, and genuine care that I've seen in their volunteers and members is something that has impressed me time and time again.<br><br>I've visited the ecovivarium several times, both at its previous and at its current location. I helped them to move between the two places, in fact. The people that work here have a positively infectious enthusiasm. And a real knack for convincing you to care about animals that some would consider creepy crawlies.<br><br>I didn't start as a person who could identify a ball python, or could tell you facts about a leopard gecko, or could have real empathy for a tortoise who has outlived her owners (and may outlive her owners' children). But here I am. And I do believe I'm better for it.<br>

The support we've received in the past two years has just been astounding. We've been able to get our autistic son from non-reader in 3rd grade to reading chapter books in 5th! And his math has greatly improved with the direction and knowledge of our Education Specialist. In addition, their special education services are fantastic. The choices we have with elective programs, school day trips and class trips are diverse and well-planned. We have three boys @ Classical, and I wouldn't change it for the world!

The Charis Project is one of the most intentional, holistic, and impactful organizations I have had the privilege to support. They are making a huge difference among poor, underserved Burmese migrants who have fled civil war in their home country and are trying to survive on the border in Thailand. The founders of The Charis Project, Aaron and Carrien, have respectfully learned the culture over more than a decade and have continually adjusted their approach to be culturally relevant and to address the root causes of poverty, abuse, and child abandonment rather than just the symptoms. In addition, the vast majority of the staff of The Charis Project are local people who understand the culture, language, and people. They show genuine love and care for the people they serve, while empowering them with the resources, wisdom, and encouragement they need to be able to support themselves. The impact of The Charis Project's work has been significant, transforming entire village communities by equipping families to love and care for their children and lowering risk of child abuse, abandonment, and trafficking. They are welcomed by village leaders and have a positive working relationship with the local government. I couldn't recommend The Charis Project highly enough!

My experience with Ship in the Woods goes back several years. I have interacted with this organization as a patron, an exhibiting artist and as an informal adviser. Leadership is dedicated to creating a self-sustaining venue for art, music and cultural events that respond to a local community of artists, intellectuals, influencers and collectors. Time and time again this organization has exceeded expectations of the local community by putting on cutting edge, compelling relevant art shows and concerts. They are a priceless asset to San Diego county.

Connected Through Kids routinely offers support, training and encouragement to our family and many fostering families throughout our county. The children in our home are offered many opportunities throughout the year. They may attend Birthday and holiday parties (in their honor) whale watching, Girl Scouts, tutoring, Padres games, Camp outs, Park days and many more events. Connected Through Kids also supports our family by providing necessities like bedding, pillows, cribs, carseats and other baby gear when it is needed. Barbie facilitates a clothing and equipment exchange so when a foster family is in need, they may connect with others who are passing things on. We have regular opportunities to gather with other fostering families for support and wisdom. Our family has been fostering for 10 years now, and I know we could not have made it without the support of Connected Through Kids. We plan to continue to foster for many years. Connected Through Kids is truly an amazing organization.

I got my current dog from the Escondido Humane Society in 2011. I found the staff to be very professional and helpful at that time. I also donate funds at least three times a year. I am very concerned by the most recent reviews. I also noticed that the older reviews were high but the more recent ones are not. I have a also heard some verbal complaints about the current staff and volunteers that were less than complimentary. <br> <br>Jerry

The amazing team at Next Step Service Dogs in Escondido donated a fully trained Crisis Support Canine to the San Diego Fire Department and I was blessed to be her Chaplain Handler. Kassie is a highly trained Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix that supports the first responders as the department. She makes numerous visits to the various fire stations to love on the firefighters, attends dozens of community events on behalf of the fire department, and responds to the scene of major events where she can be a comfort to first responders and impacted citizens. She is able to identify those undergoing extreme stress and then proceed with a number of behaviors that alleviate the stress. She is one of four canines trained and donated by Next Step Service Dogs and I can honestly state that the benefit of having these dogs is beyond measure. What I love about A Step Beyond is their commitment to their staff! I've worked with them before and it is so clear how much the staff not only cares about their work, but also cares about one another. Such a strong team of talented and caring people!

I love these guys so much that after I adopted my two cats from them, I started volunteering for their cat adoptions whenever possible and donate whenever I can. Shortly after, I joined the board last year to make a bigger difference in the work they do.<br>They really take good care of the kitties they rescue. Holli and Brittani are the best mother daughter duo together! :)<br>They do this not just as a non profit but also along with their regular full time jobs which by itself is very remarkable! They have rescued countless mommy-to-be cats and kittens and specialize in bottle feeding new borns.<br><br>I miss visiting their place to pet the kitties. <br>-Dheeraj

Our family is relatively new to the Patio family (1year - 3 shows, 1 camp, and most recently weekly improv) but we keep finding more to keep us involved. As a mother, I love that Patio is a safe place for my kids to explore their talents and make good friends. As a woman/ individual, I love that there is also a place for ME to grow my talents and make good friends both with my kids and separate from them. I am impressed with the people that have been with Patio for 20, 30, even 40 years. I have met several people that started with Patio as youth and are now board members, directors, producers, behind the scenes volunteers and still getting on stage as adults. This theatre is a very special place in our community and I feel blessed to have found it.

We love STAR Repertory Theatre! My daughter has performed in 10 shows, I have performed in 3, and we have watched countless shows by STAR Rep! It is a super amazing group of talented and welcoming people! Time and time again, the quality of the show impresses me! From the costumes, choreography, music, vocals, etc, and direction! Each experience has been a fun and memorable one! Whether you are 5 years old or 55, this is a wonderful community to be a part of, on or off stage!

I've seen the direct impact and lives saved due to this organization and thank God for their passion and desire to help children.

I was a patient at EYE in 1986-87 I was in a foster home repeating my senior year because I was moved around so much I had to repeat.<br>When I told my social worker about the abuse and misappropriation of state funds by my foster parents I was left homeless on the street with no family at 18 yo.<br> My friends mother recommended the EYE to help with my severe depression and not yet diagnosed PTSD.<br> Victor was my counselor,I believe was his name.<br>A lifetime of therapy and medications later I can say that the EYE probably saved my life.<br>The lord healed my depression with 3 amazing children.<br>No so many years later I am being stalked by a group and a Heather Smith (who I dont know) is supposed to be a relative of mine.<br>After researching her, a photo revealed she is one of the "stalkers/bikers" following me everywhere terrorizing me with organized surveillance, electronic tampering-harrasment,breaking into my home rearranging sometimes ransacking my home,peeing in my washer and water cooler.<br>A deep web search revealed she worked at the EYE as a consular in the 90s.<br>I would have left 5 stars for they way the EYE helped so many years ago, ut they should have done a better job of protecting what was said during my sessions because now this group is using it to harm me.<br>Part of the group is being run by William Molt and Vic Szilard of Bullhead City and Fort Mohave they have made repeated attempts to murder me in using sending 6 guys with baseball bats to ambush me at a job site where I was called for an estimate on work.<br> I would make sure anyone that has been there try to get their rrcords destroyed,or face being stalked and murdered for life insurance.<br>They have tried repeatedly to get me to hurt myself which is what I was seen at the EYE for.<br>The group picks people with a history of depression and <br>Gas lights and harrases them<br>Until they try to escape the torment through suicide.<br>Luckily the Lord saved a d healed me.<br>So I will never take my own life.<br>If you are being stalked or gaslighted and you were a patient at the EYE look Into<br>Heather Smith from Encinitas,CA, Colorado,kingman AZ<br>Look into Tibor Horvath from California-Hungary also if you find any cameras in your house and are sexually active they sell your videos in Germany and Budapest using servers in the Netherlands.<br>They will send someone to date you and then film you having sex without your knowledge or permission.<br>They also run an organized crime syndicate trafficking anything profitable using the<br> I 40 corridor as the main route.<br>I hope this helps someone else who is being victimized by criminals using the net and today's high tech electronics to commit nearly un traceable crimes

My twin sister, Debbi Fallet, passed away in 2013 unexpectedly. She has been a victim of domestic violence for too many years and also a drug addict. She got clean and sober the last 16 years of her life and in those years she spoke of Soroptomist often. She was so grateful for your organization and for helping her with so much...even getting her a Christmas tree when she couldnt afford it. You supported her recovery, and her motherhood and helped also, when she couldnt afford to clothe her kids.<br>Your organization asked her to tell her story in front of your members and other victims of domestic violence and she did it happily because she wanted to give back to you and to help others. From my twin siter,Debbie, and myself, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are all so special.

CSP is the kind of nonprofit that warms your heart. They give kids the opportunity to experience the performing arts, teach them personal responsibility, team building, and offering them a place of belonging, healthy friendships, hard work, and watching all of your hard work come together in an amazing production for audience members to enjoy!! <br> <br>This organization is completely non-profit. Volunteers (most of whom work full time jobs and have families of their own) unselfishly devote their time to these children to give them a fun place to perform, make friends, and see how making a production come together. <br> <br>My child started CSP a year ago and has been in 2 productions. She is a shy, somewhat awkward tween who has had some difficulty making friends due to her shyness. CSP has brought her out of her shell. She enjoys practicing, acting, singing, performing, learning choreography, and especially being on the big stage. My daughter hasn't had any lead roles. She has bit parts that don't get much attention to most people, but the CSP volunteers make her feel like she's the star of the show!! They make her feel good about herself and have significantly helped her build her self-confiedence. <br> <br>I highly recommend giving your time, donations, or both to this nonprofit. They desperately need an air conditioning unit (it gets so hot in the summer time when they are practicing) and microphones for productions. They don't turn away a child who wants to be a part of this uplifting and positive experience in the performing arts. Please donate anything you can to help support these volunteers in offering children a place to feel accepted, learn life skills, and be a part of something amazing!! Seeds of Hope is actively changing the lives of girls in Costa Rica, providing them with education and a heaping dose of self worth. Seeds of Hope does more than just run classes; they also teach valuable life skills simply by being an excellent example to the girls they serve. I am proud to have been a part of Seeds of Hope when I lived in Costa Rica. They are truly an effective nonprofit organization.
