I have been a board member for the past 4 years! What I love and appreciate about this foundation is the transparency in how funds are utilized and the amazing impact we have on Dearborn Public Schools students.

I volunteered here since 2017, and I love the mission of this organization.

As an intern at ISPU, I have had the immense pleasure of getting to know the team and have been lucky to work with them on many impactful projects that have forever changed my outlook on non-profit work. The intellectually honest approach that ISPU takes to its research and the determination it displays in providing valuable information to all members of the public is truly inspiring, and any person interested in learning more about the realities of American Muslim life should absolutely get involved with their mission.

We aim to educate the public about cancer awareness in particular, breast and colon.

Great soccer youth organization with grassroots support in the community

The Friends For The Dearborn Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that cares about animals, and has animals like dogs and cats that you can adopt.

Recently visited this organization. Was horrified to see the hatred, racism, and islamaphobic attitudes the staff had towards the people they served. As a practitioner of refugee resettlement, the same attacks towards refugees and muslims I hear from the alt-right were advertised in the literature the director shared with us. For example, she told us in her view "a muslim at his best is no better than Bin Laden". Even more disappointing was to see her treat people this way in the name of the church. As a Christian who helps the Church walk alongside our Muslim brothers and sisters, this hatred has no place in our work and service. God is not present in this organization's work.

Aziza's Place will always hold a special place in my heart as my Phnom Penh family; a place filled with people whom I love and care for. I am so proud to see the children of Aziza's Place grow into young adults with options and paths before them that have been enabled by the commitment of the Aziza's Place community in providing ongoing love, care, education and support. The interests of the children and their families are always put to the forefront and I see that all those who connect with Aziza's Place are impacted. Keep up the amazing work :)

FTC (For the Community Group) has a host of Wellness Programs for Women and Children. It's a wonderful group to be a part of. There are Hands on workshops in all areas of Nutrition, Fitness, Disease Management, Spiritual Enhancements for the purpose of bringing awareness to the Community of Women and Children. Everything is Cost Effective. <br>Workshops Cost Range: FREE, $5, $10, $15, up to $30. However most workshops are set at $10.

LAHC has been doing wonderful work in serving the communities. From scholarship opportunities, to youth development or even feeding the homeless, this organization is deeply rooted in the community. Most importantly, they don' care about your skin color or your personal believes. They serve everybody and this AWESOME!

I have worked with this organization for several years and am always impressed by their desire to help others. The organization is well managed and organized. They are always trying to improve and add increase their reach to help others. I would definitely recommend this organization.

Who is VIM? VIM is a Michigan nonprofit institution established in 1990 to promote vocational training. Its focus is on skill trades in residential, industrial and commercial facilities. The institute is positioned to provide skill trade training programs at entry or advanced levels specific to any location. We are able to do this through contributions and low budget project management. For every dollar that we earn or receive in contributions we put into designing education programs that lead to jobs or career advancement. <br> <br>Our goal for fiscal year July, 2013 to July, 2014 is to raise five million dollars. Two million for implementing the training associates with our affiliate D`Angus Technology’s specially designed “sponsored apprenticeship programs” that is in the process of being approved by the US Employment, and Training Administration (ETA). Two million will be used to put in place training programs that the state of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and the city of Detroit, Buildings Safety & Engineering and Environmental Department (BSEED) has approved. The final million will be used in research and planning of special accelerated training programs aimed at helping people in impoverished cities like Detroit Michigan, Pine Bluff, AK, Albany, GA, Macon, GA, Rocky Mount, NC, McAllen, TX, Brownsville, TX, El Centro, CA, Yuma, AZ, Saginaw, MI, Flint, MI, and others to quickly gain trade skills needed to meet area shortages. Great Camp and professional support. I love the 3 to one ratio. My daughter has been going to this camp for several years now, and asks when she can go back she has so much fun. I feel very comfortable and am confident in the care she receives there. i have recommended this camp to many others.

FOTR is a fantastic organization run by caring and intelligent individuals. The programs are fun and the river is better for having this great group to protect it.

It has been a pleasure working with my community on this project. I look forward to years of organic fruits and vegetables and memories made with my neighbors. <br>The Foundation has given my life purpose and for that I am grateful! <br>

Established in 1995, I became aware of the Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL) in 1996 when they were still helping Afghan refugees in Pakistan. I was very impressed by their grassroots, community-based approach to providing education, training and health services to Afghans, particularly to women and children. AIL actually listened to the Afghans they were working with and provided services that they requested and, in turn, asked for input from the people. In this way, a partnership was formed and the community members had a stake in the project. Since the beginning of their programs in 1996, with a budget of $30,000, AIL has now grown to serve over 350,000 women and children annually in both Afghanistan and Pakistan and has reached over 8 million Afghans since 1996. They are a visionary organization that has provided the basic building blocks for the Afghans themselves to transform their country.

Creating Hope International (CHI) is a unique organization that recognizes that indigenous organizations often know what a community needs and do better work in helping the people in their community to meet their needs. Rather than try and tell local organizations what to do,CHI provides support to local organizations, at their request, around the world to assist those organizations to do their work more effectively. Presently, CHI provides technical support to the Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL), one of the largest female-led Afghan NGOs in Afghanistan. It also supports a project with Tibetan refugees in India and healing groups in the U.S.

This award-winning community orchestra, founded in 1961, performs five classical and one pops concert annually, in addition to two children's concerts, and other events. Performances are at the state-of-the-art theater in the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
