I have been volunteering for just over a year. Seeing firsthand the impact YAIPak has on our community is incredible. Watching people come together to help each other is very inspiring. Whether it’s homeless outreach, working with foster families, veterans, struggling addicts, disaster relief or emergency pack outs. It doesn’t matter where you are in the warehouse you will see compassionate, non-judgmental volunteers willing to do just about anything to help someone in need. Sherry and her team work tirelessly to ensure that every single person that receives help knows they are loved and they matter. People leave YAIPak knowing that YOU ARE IMPORTANT!

Women Elevated is an amazing organization serving the needs of our female veterans and their families. Transitioning from military service to civilian life can be challenging and even overwhelming at times. Having an organization such as W.E. assisting those families during a critical time and life transition is a vitally necessary endeavor. I hope you’ll join me and lend a hand, whether as a volunteer or through a small financial donation. Together, our collective efforts absolutely changes lives in a most positive way.

We moved to Clarksville in September 2023. I was in remission from lung cancer but had almost died from sepsis a few months earlier. We moved to be close to our daughter for emergencies. 7 months after that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy. My daughter saw a flyer for FAITH and my husband and her whole family went to my first meeting with me. <br><br>It is so great to have a group of people who you can relate to and share experiences with. The group leaders know of so many resources and do many things to help. They have driven members to medical appointments. Simone took me out for lunch a few days after the first meeting I attended. <br><br>The group meetings are varied. Some informational, some entertaining and healing (musical bowls). Guest speakers. Often we do a craft project. The group has its own garden so that members can pick fresh organic produce. <br><br>The group has grown so much in the 10 months I’ve been attending. I tell all the people I meet who have cancer or who have a friend or family member with cancer about this group. <br><br>FAITH has future plans for fundraisers to build a building for cancer patients to go to that will have supportive care, like a chapel, meditation room, garden, gym facility, infrared sauna, massage, and more as the funds are available.

Loaves and Fishes is a wonderful place to volunteer. They provide a clean safe place six days a week that someone in need of a meal can get one. Using volunteer efforts and donated food they serve nutritious meals to the needy. They distribute food to area organizations that help the needy. This organization has served the community well and will continue it's mission of feeding the hungry.

I think what you are doing for the community is amazing. I made a visit last year and was shocked how many people were lined up for help. I had the pleasure of watching the prayer circle. God bless you all for doing what you do!

Loved joining one of their free local art classes this weekend. All supplies were provided and the instructor broke down the steps so it was easy to follow along. I feel like I gained some skills by the end!

American Legion CSM Gary W. Crisp Post 289 sponsored by Sykes Funeral Home provides Honor Guard Details for Veteran Burial Services. I am a volunteer on this team and in December 2020 requested that we provide services to a Veteran friend and co-worker who passed. For this particular service, it was very moving and emotional. Without this volunteer team, the three rifle volley's would not have been possible. <br>The respect and honor this team has for our comrades at at arms is exceptional.

Seen quite a few donation drives but no success stories. It's also run out of some random guy's house. VERY SUSPICIOUS! Give your money to a better organization!

A friend/co-worker left work early every Thursday to serve in a Good News Club. I admired her willingness to take off two hours of work early once a week during the school year to make a difference right in our community. When I inquired, I learned CEFGC coordinates and supports local churches and Christians to bring the Gospel to children - usually at their school - in after-school Bible Clubs all over our area - like 7+ counties. I felt the urge to join a Good News Club Team to bring God's Word, His Love and His truth to our community. But I was afraid to go outside my church community because I was uncomfortable to talk about Jesus and not sure how to tell others why I believe what I believed. <br><br>Because GNC is like a day at VBS once a week, only so much more, I joined a GNC Team in a supporting non-teaching role. I joined to be a better Christ Follower; to help children, our neighbors, know about the Love of Christ ... but I had absolutely no idea how the Holy Spirit would work in my life as He was in the children!! <br><br>Reading the provided curriculum, memorizing verses with the kids and listening to others taught me so much! Everything we did was based on prayer and teachings from the Bible. Relationship building and activities were educational for planting seeds. No forced prayers or anything like that. I heard many teams are formed from Church groups of some kind but my GNC Team had people I may have never met, but am so thankful I did! I learned so much from all of them and we all supported each other and prayed for each other. <br><br>My personal walk with the Lord increased exponentially! Now I am teaching. Now I can share the Gospel ... anywhere! I am growing so much from Believers I never would have met if I didn't go outside my church walls. <br><br>More importantly, I had no idea how many children today don't know God or Jesus. So many children I have met don't know God is in Heaven (not just their deceased loved one), don't know who Jesus is and have never held a Bible?! I found this shocking but am so grateful to CEFGC for the opportunity to go On Mission right here in my community! <br>Thank you!!

We are a creative group of people in Sami' s arts and crafts class. We also have interesting day trips.
