I’ve had the privilege of supporting this organization for several years and have also participated in a donor trip firsthand. Seeing the impact in person completely changed my perspective (and life), and showed me how deeply committed this nonprofit is to caring for vulnerable children in a meaningful, sustainable way. What stands out most is the integrity and heart behind the organization. Their CEO is truly incredible — compassionate, devoted, and deeply invested in both the children they serve and the relationships they build with donors and communities. It’s rare to find leadership that is both visionary and genuinely hands-on. This is a wonderful organization to get involved with.

The Peninsula and Humane Society and SPCA is amazing. I volunteer with them, and their focus on their mission is evident in everything they do. It is a great place to volunteer, give back to the community and the animals that are in it. I have met some of the most wonderful people there. I highly recommend them- whether you are looking for an animal to adopt or a volunteer opportunity.

I am currently a Clinical Social Work intern at Star-Vista and have noted the incredible assistance and support that this agency is providing individuals in San Mateo County. In particular, the Daybreak program has provided transitional age youth with a robust program that sets them up for a healthy, happy, and safe adulthood through weekly individual counseling sessions, group therapy, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and case management support that connects them to community resources. The Daybreak team is equipped with diverse and trauma-informed case managers, residential counselors, and clinicians that work collaboratively to foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity in which is needed to allow our young folks to thrive and succeed. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to continue my learning in an environment dedicated to fulfilling Star-Vista’s mission statement to deliver high-impact services through counseling, skill development, and crisis prevention to help these transitional age youth through current life's challenges <br>

Kids and Art is really special because of the passion and dedication behind the scenes, every step of the way. It's been so inspiring to volunteer with people who work to make every detail in each art kit perfect, and who care so much about each kid’s creative experience. I’m so glad to participate in such an amazing and warm organization.

I play piano for SpiritCare and it is a marvelous service bringing church services to a wide variety of senior living communities. Most impactful are experiences in the memory care units, where old hymns are still remembered and sung. Also the people leading the services will engage the group asking questions that most still can answer and will have stories to share "who was your best friend in grade school?" This is an amazing way to connect, engage and affirm people largely overlooked and undervalued in our world today.

Aryana Health Care Foundation is a legitimate health Care that has completely change my life like it will change yours and others. Hands on the best in the Bay area. 10/10????????????????????????????????????<br>Thanks to Barbara Rooth and Dr. Dillingham one of the best surgeon there is in the Bay Area as well, and to all the wonderful staff that help with the whole process from day one to the last day. <br>They were all really professional, humble , neat, clean, sanitize all equipment services and documents were easy to fill, and they got me from point A to point Z in less then a month! Can you believe that! That's super amazing ??????! <br>Now and days it's hard to find that help and trust! But look no more, because Aryana Health Care Foundation is here to take care of all their patients and clients like they did with me. <br>They open they arms out to me, and made me feel like if I was at home and also made me feel that I was in good hands.and I new that they will do their best to determine the situation and give you full explanation of the process with out a doubt! I want to thank them for taking me in, and scheduling for a MRI, and soon after the results Dr. Dillingham studied carefully and saw that I need surgery due to a torn meniscos or a ACL construction??????, one week later I was off to surgery!Cosy beds, warm blankets, heater since it was cold, and checked up on me every 10 minutes to see how I was doing. There much more to say and I can keep going and going! Thank you Nurse Génesis, nurse Kim, Dr. Juan, and Dr. Dillingham as well all staffing ????????????‍??????????????????‍??????????????????<br>I'm a parent of four kids and was indecisive and with the time I have, they were able to work around it and got me back to them in no time! Also I'm a soccer coach so I'm super excited to go back in the field and teach with no issues! <br>Now I'm back and ready to go! Thank you again Aryana Health Care Foundation for all your help and support. I hope everyone feels the same way after their experience. Volunteering with Rape Trauma Services has led me to feel more connected with my community and those in need of support. The state-certified training was thorough and well-organized, and both staff and volunteers are very passionate people from all walks of life who are doing some of the most difficult work in the world. I am proud to be affiliated with this great non-profit that continues to rise above the challenges set by the pandemic and current sociopolitical climate in order to provide top-notch support and resources to those who need them.

Freedom House presented an illuminating training on human trafficking that was informative, practical, user-friendly, and empowering. I left more aware of the various protections and laws, the push and pull conditions, and ways that I could support individual victims and survivors of human trafficking in my local community. I was well-prepared for the subsequent volunteer event that was very positive. I highly recommend this organization for volunteering and support. I learned that I can do my part to stop modern-day slavery that is occuring in our communities.
