I had a great experience at the St. Vincent de Paul Store. The volunteers are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes visiting the store a pleasure. They offer a convenient pickup service for large donation items like furniture, which is a huge help. There's plenty of parking, making it easy to stop by anytime. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of items at very reasonable prices. Donating is also simple and hassle-free. Overall, it's a wonderful place to shop, donate, and support a good cause.

I’ve have worked with Foundation for Dreams since 2021. I have met so many cool kids, and I love that FDC can provide the peace of mind for parents that their children will be safe and cared for.

I had adopted many birds from Birds of Paradise. My (babies) birds have made me extremely happy. My last were in 2012. I lost a few that went over the Rainbow Bridge. My last was Smokey, my African Grey. Smokey was 12 years old. It took me 5 years to correct her vocabulary but we got it done Smokey loves to play and talk and my cockatiels are a joy. Nicki has had the pleasure of participating in the SMART riding therapy program over the years. She loved every minute, grew in confidence and made many lifelong friends. The teachers and volunteers are outstanding. Your children and young adults will discover so much about themselves. Thank You SMART

The IMC has provided so much support and encouragement for our Non Profit school and I cannot speak highly enough of the people who established and manage it. They all do the most effective and wonderful work, very selflessly sharing their knowledge and expertise to even the most naïve startups. Our school has grown from nothing to now a significant size and becoming very sustainable. I will always be very grateful for the ongoing work undertaken by the IMC, they really do make a difference.

What a great place to go and relax. Also was a great place for a wedding I attended. The semi-annual plant shows are a great mix of plant and craft vendors, music and sweets. The tropical fruit tree area is interesting, but I really like the big swing on the pond.

My service dog Sam, saved my life. Florida Dog Guides approved Sam and I to train in their Veterans program named after a war vet like me. Sam was trained to help me and not trained and given to me. we did not pay for any training. We became family as the training began and even now years later.<br><br>Back to how Sam saved me. I was alone at home with him and just watching TV. Suddenly I blacked out. I woke to Sam thumping my chest to wake me. I noticed that I was sweating and had a lot of chest pain. I called 911 in fear that something was wrong.<br>After 911, I called my wife. Sam, allowed the EMS to help me and they told me that I was having a heart attack. If Sam did not wake me up, they said that I could have died.<br>I am so great-full each day for my service dog from Florida Dog Guides. <br>

I was one of four children born to teenage parents and became a teenage parent myself, so I have lived paycheck to paycheck all of my life - never feeling like mine was a life of 'abundance'. That changed when I became involved with a local nonprofit dedicated to the care and education of young, at-risk girls living in poverty. I developed many skills over the years (out of necessity) and share them with these girls each quarter as part of "Project Impact", a series of service projects aimed at supporting at-risk, in-need, and marginalized populations throughout the community. With the help of a business partner, we sponsored and purchased supplies to make hand-made soaps with Just for Girls Middle school students. Not only did these girls bond over the creative venture, but they learned the joy of giving and discovered that everyone can be a hero to someone. We donated our soaps to HOPE Family Services, an agency that supports victims of domestic violence. I love this giving story because our gift multiplied exponentially - first by supporting Project Impact at Just for Girls, and second by allowing them to demonstrate their open hearts and generous spirits with HOPE Family Services. Many of the girls at JFG Middle are victims of trauma themselves, and it was inspirational to watch them transform from victim to advocate and mentor as they joyfully presented their gifts to other survivors of trauma. This experience taught me that our gifts do not end with our donation, but often take on a life of their own and become the catalyst for continued and sustained support throughout our neighborhoods and communities.

i have to say for a place that is called a house of prayer it certainly needs more than prayer i am a single mom and have been discouraged to going their because it has been a degrading experience for my child and i we had been going to this place for certain needs and have found a click of members that are not very nice they treat certain clients without children with favor allowing them to come and go multiple times and others with children they are a bothered by them and make negative comments to discourage them from having a free toy, piece of clothing or pick and choose who can get a bottle of juice, meanwhile behind closed doors they get to pick and choose who can have the cream of the crop. They should change the name of their organization and instead say, "Anyone with the most expensive cars come get free food and clothes to sell in their own thrift stores". Shame on you...God have mercy!

Why is this one this list in the first place? This place is a hell-hole raided by the officials, found a scam and the owners received jail sentences. Makes this entire website suspect.

I was given the opportunity to take the class that was offered. I was at my ends rope in all situations at that point in my life. I was hoping in some way that the class would change my life and give me a new start in my life. The whole experience changed my life in so many ways, there is no way to even begin to thank all the people who made that possible. I am now employed and soon to have a car, paid in full. Everyone involved in the program was so helpful and I can't even explain an words how much I learned.

A safe and secure place for elementary age children, academically excellent , staff imparts the love of Christ to the children and parents, my wife and our children attended this school thru the years, and our grandchildren. A beautiful shaded campus, come and visit.

Goodwill looks at the abilty and not the disability and truly changes lives.

I have seen this company go above and beyound to help people with problems with alcohol and drug addiction. I have also seen them help many other people and always will to help in any way. I have seen what seemed to be hopless people go into this program and come out as a very productive way of leaving. I have seen many companys like this one with no meaning to what they do besides just house addicts. It is great to have such a company in our area.

E-mails from GSM have greatly enhanced my walk with the Lord.The Bingham family are a great blessing to the body of Christ and also to drag racers alike.It's always warms my heart when Renee opens in prayer at our local track to ask the Lord to protect the racers and fans.

This organization is making hateful, racist, ignorant statements that has escalated violent situations and is getting people killed overseas. I do not recommend supporting them in any way, and the ministry tax status should be revoked.

The Community Coalition on Homelessness (CCH) is a shining star that reaches out to its clients with compassionate action. CCH draws heavily from community volunteers for its daily operations providing a model one-stop resource center for the area’s homeless and those that are facing homelessness. Services include free medical and dental care, counseling, job search assistance, showers, haircuts, and computer access – all services that help those in crisis meet the challenge of daily survival. CCH volunteers and staff served 7,169 clients during their last fiscal year ending June 30th, 2012. They are my heroes and their clients are my friends! <br> <br>
