My name is Deborah Potter and my husband is Charles K Potter.For the past eight years, Angel Flight Soars has been an incredible blessing to our family. They have provided transportation for my husband's medical treatments with such compassion, professionalism, and reliability that they have lifted an enormous burden during a very challenging time. The volunteer pilots and everyone involved with the organization have always treated us with kindness and respect, making each trip as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Their generosity has allowed us to focus on what truly matters, my husband's health, rather than the challenges of traveling for medical care. We are deeply grateful for the dedication of Angel Flight Soars and the amazing volunteers who give their time and resources to help families like ours. Our experience with Inheritance of Hope has gone above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. Our family was able to attend a Legacy Retreat in March of 2025 where we were served with such unconditional love and care by the volunteers. It was a great encouragement and joy to meet other families like ours. Since our Legacy Retreat we have remained in contact with the organization, listened to the podcast and became a guest on the podcast to share our story. We also received our Family Legacy Song that has brought us so many smiles, tears or joy, and precious family time as we have enjoyed it together and shared with our friends and family. We also are now able to be a part of the local Hope Hub Houston community and continue being supported and cared for on a local level. I remember not wanting to apply because I didn't want to admit that our family was facing the loss of a parent due to terminal illness but I am so glad we did. We 100% recommend Inheritance of Hope!

Volunteering with Horizons Atlanta was such a rewarding experience. Helping with registration at the Champions Breakfast was a great way to welcome guests and support an organization that is making a meaningful impact on students and families. The event was well organized, the team was warm and appreciative, and it felt amazing to be part of something that celebrates education and opportunity. I highly recommend volunteering with Horizons Atlanta—it's a wonderful way to give back, meet inspiring people, and make a difference in the community.

Powerful Project provides an extremely important service, supporting Georgia's neurodivergent teens, young adults, and their parents in getting the mental health care so desperately needed today.

My Golden Retriever, Angel, was 15 years old. My applicant consultant encouraged me to take a look at Zoey. I didn't think getting a 1.5 years old dog was a good idea. Well, she kept encouraging me. So, I checked Zoey out and adopted her. I'm so very happy I did. Zoey brought the puppy out of Angel. For the next nine months they were best buds. Zoey was a great comfort to me after Angel died. Four and a half years later, Zoey is still a joy. Everyone loves her. She loves everyone. She continually makes me laugh. My life is better because of her. Thanks to GRRA for rescuing Zoey. Thanks for encouraging me to take a look at her. I will be forever grateful.

I've had the honor of volunteering with drawchange since August 2025. After losing my job following many years dedicated to child protection, I felt like I'd lost a big part of my purpose. Wanting to continue making a difference in the lives of children, I started looking for ways to serve my community and found drawchange. From the moment I walked into their office, I knew I was in the right place. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate about helping children thrive. Since then, I've volunteered in the office, at Presencia, and at Spring Art Camp. The children are always excited to be there, they laugh, play, create, and connect with one another while learning positive skills and making cool art projects. They also love spending time with the caring/dedicated staff. I recommend drawchange to everyone. It's an organization that changes children's lives, but it also has a way of healing and inspiring those who volunteer there. I am grateful to be part of its mission.

Live Healthy and Thrive Youth Foundation, Incorporated has been serving the families in the Metro Atlanta Area since 2011. The organization does everything from organizing 5K walk/run events and hosting health fairs to donating gardens to public schools and supporting college students who aspire to be in the medical field by awarding scholarships. As a board member, our goal is to continue to raise the bar and give to those whose research and hard work will some day eradicate conditions that plague our community.

I found Peaches & Cream on Petfinder and immediately knew he would be the cat for us! Lillian was quick with response to my application. She is awesome! We did a zoom meet & greet to see Mr. Peaches in his "normal" disposition prior to meeting in person. She was very thorough and informative throughout the whole process. We are absolutely in love with our new big orange boy! This rescue is wonderful and they noticeably go above-and-beyond across the board.

I'm a new board member with GA Conservancy but have benefitted from their engagement and activity during my time in Georgia. The organization is professional, honest, hard-working, and totally committed to the mission! I Joined AIR in June 2025 for a week of reforestation and building stoves, this organization truly dedicate themselves towards the local Guatemalan communities and people. While working alongside the technicians, I can tell that all of them are extremely proud of their work and truly enjoy what they do. Working in strenuous condition did not stop them from giggling and laughing with each other. Everyone understands and emphasized the interconnectedness of the environment and the people living within it, and payed huge respect and admiration for the Earth we’re on, they were genuine, passionate and kind individuals working for a great cause. As a visitor, I felt welcomed and cared for, hearing the behind the scenes process of how much effort is out into to collaborate with families, individual farmers and villages to operate tree nurseries and the history of how AIR expanded their effort, I hold huge admiration and respect for this level of dedication and impact.

Our family recently adopted a dog from Canine Crusaders of Atlanta and we were very pleased with the process. Although we didn’t end up adopting the dog we initially applied for, we ended up adopting a dog who was a better fit for our home and family. We were very impressed with the time they spent with our family finding the right match. We are forever grateful for our new family member and cannot thank them enough.

I started volunteering in 2019. This organization does a lot for kids with cancer and raise millions for cancer research to help the lives of kids so that they can find a solution or comfort. This organization also takes very good care of their volunteers. They show respect and much appreciation for our help during semi-annual events.

<br>I am writing to share a harrowing experience that began on December 20, 2019. Weeks after my indictment and disclosure, Experian informed me that my information was sold on the dark web. This was the beginning of a relentless nightmare that has shattered my life.<br>My first checking account, a Chase account I'd held for years, was closed on September 29, 2020, due to unauthorized transactions. This was just the start. Eight more checking accounts followed, all closed for the same reason. Despite these widespread issues, financial institutions refused to allow me to deposit checks electronically, yet somehow an unknown individual was able to electronically deposit fraudulent checks into my accounts.<br>I sought help from every possible avenue. My local police department, the West Virginia State Police, and even the mayor of my town were unwilling to assist. In desperation, I contacted credit bureaus to place freezes on my accounts, filed an identity theft report with the Federal Trade Commission, and reached out to the Department of Health and Human Services Civil Rights Division regarding the disclosure of my information. I even contacted Rite Aid Corporation for my records and spoke to the head district attorney about the illegal actions of an assistant DA, but no one would intervene.<br>The situation escalated dramatically. I began receiving hard inquiries on my credit reports from institutions I had no association with. When I requested the credit card applications, I was shocked to find one from Wells Fargo containing all my information, along with my ex-husband's IP and mailing address.<br>Then came the mail theft. A $1400 stimulus check was stolen from my mailbox, forged, and cashed. A Synchrony Bank Amazon credit card was also stolen. Outgoing mail went uncollected for days, and I never received important letters, like a rent increase notice from my landlord. Despite reporting this to USPIS, my local postal company, and Postal Inspector Melissa Belmont, the problems persisted.<br>The attacks moved online. My emails were hacked, leading to unauthorized access to all my accounts, including ID.me, Credit Karma, PayPal, Cash App, and Venmo. I experienced 13 data breaches, a $50,000 loan from Discover, a home loan, two T-Mobile accounts, and fictitious life insurance policies opened in my name.<br>This identity theft even cost me a job. After being offered a position, a background check revealed someone had used my Social Security number to commit felonies in Texas. Despite having no felony charges and only visiting Texas once as a 10-year-old, I was not hired.<br>I continued to report these crimes to every agency imaginable: the Inspector General’s office, the Ohio and West Virginia Attorney General's Consumer Divisions, the governors of Ohio and West Virginia, my state representative, my state congressman, and IC3. My state representative's office submitted my documents to the Department of Justice, who took ten months to respond, only to say they were understaffed and couldn't help. I filed ten more complaints with the Department of Health and Human Services Civil Rights Division, the Ohio Pharmacy Board, Mr. Bill Johnson (Ohio State Representative), and the Social Security Administration. Not one agency provided assistance as the identity theft and fraud continued unabated.<br>I received notifications from my bank about charges on a card ending in 7090, a card I didn't even possess yet as it hadn't arrived in the mail. My 2023 tax return was filed fraudulently. Legal Aid in both Ohio and West Virginia told me they don't take cases like mine.<br>Beyond the financial and personal devastation, this nightmare led to severe legal consequences. I received a five-month jail sentence, $7,000 in court fines and costs, was forced to forfeit my vehicle, and received a ten-year driver's license suspension for an OVI that cannot be expunged. I was forced to drain my entire IRA, incurring late penalties and over $7,000 in state and federal taxes. I had to buy another vehicle and move multiple times, eventually leaving the state due to slander, harassment, and retaliation.<br>This entire ordeal stems from a fundamental desire for respect—to teach my daughters the value of self-worth and self-respect, no matter the cost. It's about what is right and what is wrong.<br>I want to share my story with everyone. We, the people, are the nation, and the right to privacy is an extremely important subject that we must fully address. Few realize the devastating impact it can have when your information is sold on the dark web. You never get that information back; you are forced to monitor your credit reports for the rest of your life. My once perfect credit score is now in the 400s. Despite placing freezes on my credit cards, these individuals have charged them. Because the cards bear my name, I am held responsible for charges that are not mine. I cannot find an attorney to take my case due to the individual who violated both federal and state laws. I spent over $60,000 from my IRA on attorney fees, yet not one attorney recovered my vehicle (which a judge had released to me) or stayed with my case for longer than two months before withdrawing, undoubtedly due to threats.<br>The vehicle I purchased after my license was suspended was driven by an individual who, for no reason, drove off the road at 52 miles per hour, without braking, into five trees. One uprooted tree saved my life by preventing us from plunging into a 25-foot ravine. I was pinned in my vehicle for over four hours until two coon hunters found me and called 911. As soon as the vehicle stopped, the driver fled into the woods, leaving me there. Emergency services took me to the hospital, where I was treated for a broken nose, a concussion, six broken ribs, a crushed sacrum, a tailbone broken in two places, and a broken arm and ankle.<br>How is one supposed to get a job and improve their life without a vehicle? How am I supposed to get a vehicle without a job? How can I get a job when every background check fails because someone stole my Social Security number? Do you see the impossible situation I'm in?<br>This entire situation violates fundamental rights, including Fourth Amendment Protections against unreasonable searches and seizures, the cornerstone of privacy rights. It also touches upon other legal frameworks like HIPAA, which protects health information, the First Amendment's protection of freedom of association, and the Due Process Clauses of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. No individual, including district attorneys, is above the law. They are subject to legal and ethical constraints and are expected to uphold the law, ensure justice, and protect the rights of the accused.<br>I appreciate you listening to my story. I implore you to share it. This has been a complete nightmare, caused by individuals who maliciously failed to safeguard my information out of retaliation, harassment, and to profile me based on my medical records, all for profit.<br><br>

Hello Tyler Perry you don’t know me, I doubt you know anyone who is on this page but I have huge faith when it comes to my three children. I was recently in a car accident and my finances have went down hill. Even my lawyer Alexander shunnarah is saying they can’t help me until I finish my physical therapy and that’s weeks away. I missed may rent and received my eviction notice prior to that I reached to Salvation Army, 211 united way, and a lot of first Baptist churches. And I was turned away or given numbers that were disconnected. I even reached to your foundation The Tyler Perry foundation and your Ig I uploaded all my information to make sure I showed my proof. Without the place me and my children will not be safe. We moved here to be away from my husband who was beating on me. He’s the reason why I now have seizures. We need help to keep our apartment

Helped my daughter with volunteer hours for school - she volunteered with Jingle Bell Run in December. It was a great experience and the staff was very easy to communicate with and gave clear directions.

This is on of the most consistent non-profit agencies in Atlanta when it comes to taking care of the community. Over the past 8 years I have seen Overlooked Creations supply food, clothing, pampers and formula for babies, support starting a business, find grants, goal setting. It’s a true testament to how passionate the CEO, Empress is about meeting the needs of those who have been overlooked. This is the perfect model for others to follow.

As a former parent of a Veritas scholar, I had high hopes for what this program promised: rigorous academic development, leadership training, and unique opportunities for Black and Brown youth. The program absolutely has strengths, including charismatic instructors, intellectual challenge, and global exposure. However, the execution does not always align with the mission. <br> <br>The financial burden on families is significant. Tuition is over $14,500. Optional but highly encouraged program components like corporate immersion and global travel cost thousands more. These costs are not clearly communicated during the application process, which many parents have found misleading. The program touts a prestigious list of sponsors and donors, but it is not clear how this funding is being used to subsidize student experiences, given the hefty tuition and cost of programming. There is nothing wrong with recruiting an elite and well-resourced clientele, but the marketing and donor solicitations should align with that. <br> <br>More concerning is the way emotional development and student well-being are handled. Students who struggle, even momentarily, may find themselves dismissed from the program without meaningful support, restorative pathways, or a refund of tuition costs. This all-or-nothing approach is especially disheartening for families who believed the program was designed to develop, not just showcase, talent. <br> <br>The marketing suggests the program is for a wide range of students, but only a niche few seem to be well-served—those who already come with strong oratory skills and high confidence. Families hoping for a developmental experience may be disappointed. <br> <br>To maintain donor confidence, I encourage the Board to conduct a transparent program evaluation, publicly share outcome data, and ensure all policies reflect the mission of equity and opportunity. I talked to 4 different people, went through an exhausting story 4 times, then several emails. It ended up that they gave me a list of grants to apply for to help with my insurance dilemma. It was a huge waste of time and energy and I got no guidance in how to navigate insurance difficulties while battling cancer. I'm angry that I'm now counted among the number of people that their charity reports that they "helped". They didn't help at all, they actually made things more stressful. The organization that did help was my local ss office.

Hello everyone, I am in Thailand. I am a principal, my school name is Ban San Sri School, Chiang Mai province. There are 158 students, poor children who are looking for school supplies. We are very lucky that Mrs. Pat from IFED came to help us by donating printers, soccer balls, volleyballs, futsal balls, 65-inch TVs, file cabinets, bookshelves, ceiling fans and bag cabinets. Students received valuable items that make their learning better and we are very happy. We would like to thank you very much for taking care of us.
