JTF is an amazing organization who has helped so many friends and loved ones. We are so proud of what they do, who they are and how much they are able to help. The love and ability to outpour to our community is phenomenal and as a parent with a special needs child, they are one of our favorite organizations

I'm honored to be on the board for PRA. This organization makes a huge difference in the lives of so many people. It is a great connector of resources for pregnant women, and offers baby supplies, parenting classes, and so much more...even teddy bears for positive pregnancy tests!

My name is Larry Davis of Cleburne, TX. I have been to Jeremiah's Hope two times in 2012 and 2013 and I will be going this year2015 for three weeks. I believe this is one of the best camps I have worked at. Andrew and Jenny Kelly do a great job over seeing the camp. They spend all the money very wisely and thrifty . They treat each child as a special person. I look forward to seeing this camp grow and reaching out to more and more children each year.

The Abilene Community Theatre has maintained a long-standing association with a lifetime registered sex offender who has been actively involved as a director and actor for several years, despite their policy against such involvement for sex offenders performing community service. This individual has been allowed to participate in shows for consecutive seasons. It's important to be aware of the organizations we support and participate in. The explanation that id usually given by the theatre on this person's crime does not align with the facts despite court documents being readily available and accessible. It's crucial as a community to collectively hold organizations accountable for their actions and questionable decision making.

As a volunteer at CWJC for many years I want to share that it has blessed me in so many ways ,meeting other volunteers,being of help to others ,but especially seeing the change in participants going thru our program,how they gain strength in faith as well as their own abilities . Keep Abilene Beautiful has been a driving force in the Abilene community over the years in adding over 20,000 crepe myrtles across town, planting 1,000's of trees, working on conservation and revitalization projects. This organization has also been the award winners of over $500,000 that have resulted in 5 medallions and 3 large welcome portals to the city via main highways and interstates. Then they work throughout the year hosting Spring and Fall Cleaning events, growing their adopt-a-spot groups that are handling over 26 city street miles and 6 creek bank miles to keep clean. They currently have 14 registered neighborhood associations that they collaborate with to maintain clean neighborhood projects throughout the year. This group truly understands that Keep Abilene Beautiful is about the health and wellness of the community beyond nice yards, clean parks and litter control. They play an integral part in this whole process.

The United Methodist Service Center and Food Pantry (UMSCFP) began serving low income families of Taylor County in 1954. We currently operate two programs: the Food Pantry and the Service Center. The mission of the Food Pantry is to provide a week’s worth of nutritional groceries once every calendar month for economically disadvantaged families in Taylor County. The Service Center's mission is to help pay utility bills, prescriptions and medical transportation of up to $75 once a year for the elderly and/or disabled low<br>income clients. The UMSCFP does not discriminated in regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or sexual orientation.<br> The Food Pantry does not limit the number of families served each week, and typically serves 160 families each week. During 2018, we served over 7800 families. During the summer months, we are able to provide fresh produce and meat along with our canned goods.<br> Individual churches provide personal hygiene items for clients to select as needed.<br> The Service Center functions on donations from individuals and churches as well as grant funding. Elderly clients, age 62 or older, and/or those with a disability may request help with a utility bill, medical bills, transportation or prescription. Each client is interviewed by the Executive Director to verify their need as well as counseling them on future needs.<br> The United Methodist Service Center and Food Pantry operates through volunteer help.<br>Volunteers are on site during food distribution days to check clients into the computer, bag the grocery items, help load their cars. Every month we register over 400 volunteer hours. <br>

Such wonderful and carrying people. Are always there with the answers you need and are looking for. If not they know where to refer you for the help you need.

Absolutely love what the people of this organization do as well as represent.

This so called church is more of a cult. It is run by one man claiming to be the only link to heaven. He asks for "donations" from all of his followers regardless of their financial abilities to give, however he never shows any period of where the funds are actually being applied to help service the community or spread the gospel. He encourages individuals to leave their families behind to join his "church" in Texas, but once they do the families lose almost all contact with their loved ones. Please know who it is you are spring before you support them.

This is an amazing foundation that gives the "Not Forgotten" coin to US soldiers and veterans all over the world. It's a simple gesture but greatly appreciated by those who have and are serving our country. They also assist in getting veterans services and jobs in the Abilene area. As donations continue to increase they hope to expand these services beyond the city.
