The Million Dollar Teacher Project has been an amazing experience for me. As a student from ASU, I got the opportunity to volunteer at one of their events. It was called a "Take a Teacher to Lunch" event where the Million Dollar Teacher Projects hosts a luncheon at any school, to celebrate and recognize teachers. They highlight teachers by giving them gifts and a catered lunch, just to show their appreciation. They a focused on elevating the teaching profession and I love the efforts because Arizona is low when it comes to education.

Currently a member. I asked last July to be removed from association. But still waiting I believe they are illegally representing personal that don't want anything to do with this lying association. They will not show me the financial statements becuase of the illegal dealing. They will be brought to justice if it the last thing I do.

They harassed my mom into donating money once they mentioned her business and they called again a couple of weeks later saying that the check never arrived. My mom called the bank to check if the initial check had been cashed and was told yes it was cashed a couple of days after arriving. C.O.Ps called my mom again and she went off on them letting them know the first check was cashed and they haven’t called back since.

Three of us from Wisconsin took the tour through Watkins Glen and were amazed at the Falls and especially the rock formations. At the end of the tour we took a wrong turn and ended up in St. Mary's Cemetery. After going through the falls, we ended up in St Mary's Cemetery. (We missed any signs that would have warned us that we were at the end of the Glen if there were any.) After trying to find our way, getting tired from walking so much, and getting colder and colder, we called 911 and told them we were lost. Using the GPS location of our phone, they sent a squad to where we were. Occifer — I mean officer — Jumpper came to the rescue within probably ten minutes and couldn't have been nicer. He verified who we were, got us in the warmed back seat, and, not being far from our hotel, brought us there. We were able to joke among ourselves and with Jumpper about our plight and rescue. He dropped us off at our motel which was adjacent to the Glen. We tried to offer him a reward that he could have kept for himself but said if we wanted to make a donation to the Police Benevolent Association that would be fine. He would not take cash for himself. So here's our donation. Kudos to your Police department and officer Jumpper! What could have been disaster for us turned into being rescued minutes after the call and THEN joking around among ourselves and with Jumpper about plight. (What a nice guy!) Watkins Glen was awesome and so were the folks involved in rescuing us. Thanks so much. We hope our check (sent via mail) makes your next event even better. Pretty much some sort of Scammer disguised as a Non Profit. 1st off the call comes up Unknown caller they have been flagged by Robocall services. People do not like Robo Calls. blocked their number but I am sure they will continue to call. Would give them a Zero out of 5 stars.

we were supposed to get Thanksgiving dinner delivered to day from fraternal order of police Lincolnton nc we waited all day and no one came by. Its been a hard couple of weeks I had surgery two weeks ago and wed we were coming back from seeing my daughters surgen in charlotte and we were rear ended at a red light by a man whom told us he had been drinking. We ( my daughter, Christina) and I ended up in the hospital .Hope the holidays get better Thanks timothymitodad@gmail.com

I worked here for a day as an office Assistant and decided it was not right for me. After countless emails, I have not been paid. And I am now going through L and I. It's kind of ironic for a nonprofit of this nature to not be paying past employees.

The La Habra Police Association was founded in 1968. The Association's purpose is to represent it's members in matters pertaining to wages, benefits, and legal representation. The members also interact with the community of La Habra through participation in community and charity events. I am proud and honored to serve on the board, representing the members, and helping the community of La Habra.

On dec 13th or 12th of 2014, I was attacked at Penns woods motel. I had the misfortune of needing this police dept.after having my phone taken, being thrown about like a rag doll, having gas tossed on my legs. I called the police. I had the tag numbers of the perps. The police took my report and said they would call me later to follow up. Later meant 10pm. After the initial call, from police, I hit a stone wall. No one would call or help. I dare say, had I not been a guest of Penns woods and had lived in Gretna or Hershy, the treatment would have been different. I very much resent the people who hurt me, getting away. Like I said, I had the tag numbers. These police should be ashamed of themselves . It was their job, to help me. It doesn't matter why I was staying in Penns woods.

The Farmworker Association of Florida has a 30 year history of empowering farmworkers in Florida to become more informed and to advocate for themselves and their communities that they might have better living and working conditions for the hard work that they do. The people whose back-breaking work is necessary for us all to have food to eat, often go hungry themselves. FWAF works to change the dynamics that keeps farmworkers powerless and subjected to an industrial agricultural system that feeds on a cheap, exploitable labor force. Fighting for the human rights, civil liberties, justice in the workplace, environmental justice regarding exposure to pesticides, the organization has lead the way in the state, and has made an impact nationally in the strugle for the rights of farmworkers. Communities in Florida that have been touched by the work of the FWAF are the better for it. It is truly a grassroots organization - of, by and for farmworkers.

My parents are elderly. This organization calls them every couple of months that they are having their "annual donation drive," and since they have given in the past, can they make another donation. Rather than having my parents mail the check, they insist on coming by to pick up the check. I happened to be at my parent's house in July 2011 when they picked up a donation check. Again I was there in September 2011 when they picked up a check. They called again in November 2011, I answered the phone and told them that my parents would not be giving. I noticed in my parents checkbook, a couple weeks later, that there was a check to them, and my mom said they came by earlier that day. In February 2012, as I was coming up the drive to my parents house they were just leaving. Finally I was there in April 2012 and told them that my parents had given enough to the organization and do not call them again. I was told that they wouldn't be called again. August 15, 2012 my parents received another phone call from the group stating they are having their annual campaign drive and since they have given in the past, could they be counted on giving again? I told them my parents have already given twice this year and was told that they wouldn't be called on again for a donation.

JwJ was very effective in its efforts to diversify this year's May Day march and rally. They are truly committed to increasing solidarity between all of our local groups working for social justice, and have been at at for 20 years. They fill a deep need in the Massachusetts and prevent many missed opportunities for collaboration. Thank you for your work!!
