Soccer Without Borders (SWB) is a simple, but powerful idea - use the world's game to build community for those needing it most wherever they happen to be. I volunteer in Colorado and could not say enough positive things about the organization, it's impact and particularly the people dedicated to it in our area. The very simple mission of respect, inclusivity and purpose could be mistaken for bringing a surface level impact in line with that simplicity, but it's far more than that. The coaches and administrators are so dedicated and very intentional with the safe space they build for the youth in their programs. They build a sense of mutual respect, structure, belonging and support that is so needed in today's world and in the kids they serve. I love soccer, but I love good people even more and I'm so grateful to be a small part of this organization.

I know of a woman named Brie Oleary living in Honolulu who convinced my drug addicted to fentanyl boyfriend to steal my 8 week old Chihuahua puppy. I was able to locate her in a homeless camp. I gave the puppy away to a good home for fear they would retaliate and steal her again. Also she does instacart and I think she steals animals from the elderly or disabled. She rides in a black jeep license plate yaz121(think she lost it?) but anyway, I have heard she was once arrested for animal beastiality charges. I am afraid she is doing strange things here in a Honolulu with weak minded addicts like my ex Devin taga for sexual and monetary purposes. She keeps a dog breed named Bully as a pet. He is stinky and not well cared for. My ex was constantly carrying dog treats with him when he was seeing her. I think to lure pets to fenced where they could reach over and steal the pet. Do sick. These drug addicted fentanyl and crack users will do anything for money! No emotion and no morals

I am currently interning at Social Justice Collaborative, and I am very proud to have the opportunity to learn from and support this agency. Now more than ever, they are providing exceptional services to people who need support. I have been impressed by the systems they have in place to help clients feel safe, heard, and respected. This organization is truly committed to serving the community and advocating for those who may otherwise struggle to access resources and support. My placement has allowed me to learn from dedicated professionals while seeing firsthand the positive impact this organization has on the lives of its clients. Overall, my experience has been very positive, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of an organization that is so deeply committed to social justice and client-centered services.

Biohazard area, the co director Enrique Orozco uses the donation funded building from time to time at night as a sex room. The tables/furnitute that are used and touched everyday by the public he uses as he pleases so be careful where you touch. Iv reached out to the every board member multiple times and they have decided to ignore this man abusing his position. He’s been arrested for trying to bring over 8lbs of drugs across the border as well. Overall he deceives the public and gives himself $70,000 a year out of donated money. Tell me, do you want to donate to a charity ran by this guy? Misusing funds and and the building itself.

we met a really nice man outside of a starbucks in san carlos. we were $6 short but he gave us a pie anyway "it's not about the money, it's about the cause". on our way out, we made every green light, and realized just how lucky we are. we hope that this organization reaches every goal they hope to reach. and to the man who sold us our pie outside of the starbucks in san carlos, you really made our day and we hope everybody gets the christmas dinner they deserve. thank you to this organization and thank you to the amazing life we are so lucky to have

I’m incredibly grateful to the International Institute of Los Angeles (IILA) for the support they provided through the TSE (Transitional Subsidized Employment) program, especially during such a critical time in my life. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I lost my job like so many others and was facing an uncertain future. I didn’t know what direction to go in, and I felt stuck.<br><br>That all changed when I was fortunate enough to join the TSE program at IILA. The staff not only offered practical resources but also genuine encouragement that helped me believe in myself again. The program gave me the opportunity to break into a new line of work—something I never imagined I could do. It opened doors I didn’t even know existed.<br><br>Thanks to the experience and confidence I gained during the program, I was later able to secure a job with IILA itself. Working for an organization that once helped me get back on my feet has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It gave me the chance to give back and support others on similar paths.<br><br>Now, a few years later, I’ve even returned to school to further my education and continue building the career I rediscovered through IILA’s help. The TSE program didn’t just help me find a job—it helped me find a new purpose. I stayed at the buddhist monastary for 6 months helping the monks work and come to find out the head monk stole from me while i was helping him work, about $33 fell out my pocket while working with the head monk. He was also the one who turned the water and power off in december. i was homeless and they knew i was having trouble getting a job, i never expected to be paid for the hard work but after surely knowing the head monk pocketed the little money i had. i wanted to be paid for the last huge work i did that would have taken a bulldozer to take apart...long story short, after completing the work , the head monk and two other associates of his told me to leave.

I called this organization so many times and NO RESPONSE, it means really nobody care, I don't know why they are taking donations, for NOTHING!!<br>They always and all the time have limited schedule and NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS, why are you guys doing? why do you have funds? for employees' compensation? <br>That's really frustrated, you are better to close this organization, I wish if I have the ability to put zero and no stars at all. <br>Good luck deceiving people<br>

It's a Muslim community located in Blaine, Minnesota. <br>A notable characteristic of the American Muslim community is its commitment to social justice, charity, and civic engagement. Many organizations within the community actively participate in local and national initiatives aimed at addressing social inequalities and supporting marginalized populations. This engagement reflects the community's dedication to fostering dialogues about inclusivity, acceptance, and understanding across various sectors of society.<br><br>Another strength of the American Muslim community lies in its interfaith relationships. Apna Brooklyn Community Centre - Bath Avenue Workshop (21st October 2024)<br><br>On 21st October 2024, I attended a workshop at Apna Brooklyn Community Centre on Bath Avenue, along with my family. It was my first time visiting the center, and the experience was truly wonderful.<br><br>From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team. I had the pleasure of meeting the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Erm Hanif, who was very kind and approachable. Her leadership truly reflects in the atmosphere of the community center.<br><br>The entire staff was incredibly helpful and professional. A special mention goes to Mr. Hanif, Mr. Faisal, and Noor, who were extremely supportive throughout the workshop. Their friendly approach made us feel comfortable and appreciated. The dedication and commitment of the staff toward serving the community are clearly visible in every interaction.<br><br>The workshop was well-organized, informative, and beneficial for everyone who attended. I left with a great sense of gratitude for the positive environment the center provides for families and individuals in Brooklyn.<br><br>I wholeheartedly appreciate the efforts of everyone at Apna Brooklyn Community Centre, and I look forward to attending more events in the future. I have been a tutor with this program for years and it is amazing. Being a tutor and being able to help a learner achieve their goals has been such a joy. I am humbled by the learners' enthusiasm and diligence. Learners are paired with tutors so that they can learn one-on-one and really focus on their goals. There are also classes available to learners to further help them on their journey to improve their English. I have seen how much these resources can help learners to gain confidence and move forward in their lives. It is just incredible!

I have been volunteering with Literacy GB for years. I've never had a bad experience. I've tutored women from Belarus and have felt nothing but joy. If I have any questions at all, be it about a method of teaching, materials to use, or whatever, those at Literacy have been there to help me. The first woman I taught now has a managerial position at her job, with people beneath her. She is so happy!

Their culturally sensitive approach, particularly within South Asian communities, creates a safe space for those facing abuse to seek help without fear of judgment or stigma. The organization offers not only immediate crisis intervention but also long-term assistance, including legal aid, counseling, and housing support. Maitri’s empowers survivors by helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
