Highly effective and with high integrity. I've seen the work of Young Heroes first hand, having gone to Eswatini to participate in fundraising. They touch lives in a very direct and impactful way, and really do give a much brighter future to kids who were born into unfortunate circumstances, to say the least. The local team is super committed, compassionate, and effective. I've met some of the families/kids they help and the need is real. I think their approach is smart: supporting the kids in staying healthy, getting educated, and getting skills, until they can be self-sufficient. And they have proven that it works. I have the utmost confidence that my money is being well spent when I donate to Young Heroes.

I have seen first hand the amazing work of African Childrens Haven in Kenya. I visited their rescue home for girls in Narok in 2021 and was highly impressed by the commitment of the director, Patrick and his wife, and the programs in place for the girls. They have a seamstress business in town, as well as a farm where the girls can go to get out into the countryside and do meaningful and therapeutic work. You could see on the faces of the girls that they are happy and at peace there. These girls who were victims of child marriage or FGM are getting a second chance, and it's really heartwarming to see. I hope many people will step up to support this great work.

Wonderful organization. I have seen their work firsthand and can tell you it really makes a difference for the children. And the money really does go directly to those in need, not to 'administration'.

I've been a contributor for a number of years but this year got involved in fundraising. I like the fact that, because they are underwritten, every dollar contributed goes to feeding and clothing the AIDS orphans. They serve a need that is otherwise unknown in the US. The staff are extraordinarily dedicated and caring.
