Well Aware not only has wonderful intentions of bringing clean water access to rural parts of Kenya they make sure to do it with long-term, self-sustaining strategies for the communities they serve. If all non-profits were run this way the world would be a much better place.
Review for Miracle Foundation, Austin, TX, USA
The Miracle Foundation (TMF) has made an incredible difference to the lives of many orphaned children in India. Before doing volunteer work for the organization last year I had previously spent a fair amount of time traveling throughout much of the country. Although I loved my time traveling there I often saw children living in the streets with little to no hope of obtaining a better life. So when I volunteered for TMF and saw firsthand a couple of the orphanages that TMF supports and runs, I was truly amazed at how well the children are taken care of and how much better their lives are and will be in the future due to what TMF provides them.
