My Nonprofit Reviews

Janice Scanlan
Review for The Rose, Houston, TX, USA
The Rose really provides something you don't find often--people who care and treat you like an individual. I had had an inconclusive mammogram and had to repeat the screening, with possibly more tests required. The Rose repeated the mammography and Dr. Parsons read it immediately and determined I needed no further testing. In other words they didn't conduct unnecessary screening, even on an insured patient, as well as respected my time and concern and provided me with a complete review.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
helping others and treating everyone with professionalism, competence and caring.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
It amazes me what they have achieved.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing them increase their services and helping more uninsured patients annually.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
top knotch.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Serve more people and build more services in house.
Ways to make it better...
I'd like to see more insured women use The Rose so they can help more people.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting the word out and getting more contributions for their mission.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The Rose is a place I refer my friends and tell others about.
