Retired senior refuge manager with the US Fish and Widllife Service, I have over 32 years experience trying to "hold back the tide" of the pavers for profit exploiters. A career of protecting critters, establishing enviornmental education and frantically preserving habitat - while slogging through politics and bureauocracy. I am not impressed by agency bureauocrates or Corporate Green, the big, established conservation groups. Too much willingness to go along to get along...continual compromises...Like allowing State to gun wolves on a National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska! Thanks to CBD for stopping that. ....I very much like Center for Biological Diversity's no-holds barred, lawyer-loaded actions to stand up to Corporate exploiters and their bought-and-owned types in Congress and Agencies. Keep hammering them CBD...They will only [sort of] stop when solid case law forces them to.
