I have been supporting the Center for Biological Diversity for years, and have told friends and family about it because the work they do is so important, and they do it so well. I don't give to top heavy charities that spend many dollars on administration and mailings. The Center uses email campaigns effectively, as well as Facebook and other social networking sites. They keep their supporters abreast of new developments, good and bad. But most importantly, I am grateful that they stay abreast of issues concerning wildlife and conservation, and are aggressive about taking action.
