Review for Corazon de Vida Foundation, Irvine, CA, USA
I have been a part of Corazon de vida for over two years as a board member and over five years as a volunteer. Corazon de Vida is an inspiring non profit organization that financially supports the immediate and essential needs such as food, water, shelter, electricity and education to 14 orphanages in Baja, Mexico. It organizes volunteer day trips to visit these orphanages, giving volunteers a first hand look at the daily difficulties these homes face and the ever present need for help. More importantly, however, it gives orphans a day of desperately sought after love and attention and gives volunteers an experience they will never forget.
For those of you eager to contribute and be involved in the lives of those benefiting from your contributions, please consider Corazon de Vida, an organization that continuously strives to change the lives of orphans in Mexico.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
This organization was founded by an incredible woman who herself grew up in an orphanage in Baja, Mexico and vowed to do what she could to improve the circumstances of children lacking the love and support needed for survival. Despite the growth of the organization, she continues to push for awareness and help in extending this love and support to more orphanages and more children across the Baja region.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Find ways to rally more people outside of Southern California to get involved. The ability to show people first hand not only the dire need but also what their contributions can do in the lives of those less fortunate is, well, priceless.
