my mom passed away in March 2025, leaving behind her beloved African Grey, Rose. As my stepfather is disabled and unable to care for Rose the way she needed, I made the tough decision to surrender her. I was beyond blessed with the support and understanding that For The Love of Birds showed during the difficult time. Joanne was extremely helpful in the entire process and assured me that Rose is in great hands. Rose has now been adopted by another family that love her as much as my mom did. I cannot thank this organization enough for everything they have done.
