I fell in love with Muddy Paws Rescue about two and a half years ago when I started volunteering with them. I really wanted to get involved with an animal rescue and tried out volunteering at a few places and MPR was hands down the most impressive. Everyone I’ve met and worked with (staff and volunteers) have been some of the best people I’ve come across in all my years in the city. They care about the dogs, they care about the community, and they care about each other. I’ve seen firsthand how hard this organization works and I always look forward to the time I’m able to put in volunteering with them. They also introduced me to my dog (the sweetest senior stray found right here in NYC) and were a huge reason I felt prepared to care for him on my own for the first time.

I tell everyone I know about MPR and recommend them for anyone looking to adopt, foster, volunteer, etc., and I will continue to work with them for as long as they’ll have me.
