A darling friend suggested this charity to me. During a dark and violent storm in my life as a constant care taker; a weekend away of recovery and stillness was just what my deeply wounded, overwhelmed and exhausted soul needed. The quiet, the peace, the beauty and solitude were all so healing.
It was not a spiritual context at all yet brought me closer to God. I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful, cozy and welcoming place to recuperate. The bed and breakfast I was so blessed to visit was simply impeccable and beyond my dreams. More exciting than walking into Disney, this trip was certainly a treat. I had no idea how desperately I needed this break until I had it. I feel so refreshed and better equipped to take care of my family.
My heart and soul needed this break. Happened to get an absolutely wonderful history lesson as well in a quaint historic town.
