Our family were blessed to partner with the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation to get my son, Eli, an Emfit bed monitor. Eli has a rare form of intractable medication resistant epilepsy called Dravet syndrome. Everything he goes through is completely unpredictable. This monitor will allow Eli (and me) to sleep peacefully knowing that if he has a seizure in his sleep we will immediately alerted so we can take care of him. SUDEP is a very real possibility with any nocturnal seizure and we are so grateful for foundations that help love on and support families who are fighting every day for their loved ones with epilepsy!
