Big shout out to Loula Foundation for touching lives in need one day at a time. I’ve reached out to many peers with very little complaints and with great progress. This gives me hope as a Recovery Support Peer Specialist, a person with lived experience. Loula has also walked with and guided me so I can be successful. This is far more than volunteer work. This is my story and I’m happy to say Loula is apart of my journey. Thank you Alisha for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel like family. And for the person seeking services. Most of the time it takes a village to help us get back on our feet!
