C.C. has a heart of gold and cares not only about the well-being of animals, but also considers what will be best for them in their life. I adopted a 23-year-old horse whose owner had grown ill and could not care for him any longer. It turned out this horse was not at all ready to retire. C.C. recognized that he was still very spirited and deeply wanted a person. Thankfully he chose me! C.C. took wonderful care of the horse; I now call Chief. I was sent with everything he needed to have a great start in his new home. C.C. has continually checked on us and even visited us to make sure he was settled.
She genuinely cares for my boy Chief. He is such a love and we have developed such an unshakable bond. I’m so happy C.C. had the foresight to send this boy home with me so he can spend the rest of his days riding on the bluffs of More Mesa. C.C. is a horse woman through and through and offers incredible love and care to the animals in her rescue. I’ll forever be grateful to Happy Endings!
