The Center for Biological Diversity is the real deal. It pursues a wide range of incredibly worthwhile (and often urgent) ecological goals in a well-researched and well-judged way, and its professionalism and determination always stand out. The United States is lucky to have the C.B.D.. There appears to be no equivalent organisation as good as this in other countries.
