As a nonprofit working with "at-risk" youth we needed incentives to get kids to do homework, be helpful in participating in chores and other positive things that would encourage life success. Most of our youth are low income and from dysfunctional families. Working with Tickets for Kids has been transformative to our program. Kids complete homework checks and chores each month and then we book a field trip with Tickets for Kids to reward them. We could not afford to do these trips with out Tickets for Kids.
Our teens have been to sporting events and museums. They've toured a lunar lander factory and the National Aviary. Their lives have been very enriched by the experiences and their lives improved by not falling behind in school due to the incentives. Our program has become much more like a family because we go on these "family outings" together. Field trips for us were rare for the past 24 years but this year they became a monthly trip during the school year and a weekly Friday trip in the summer.
Recently we took a younger group to Disney on Ice and we wound up being seated in the first and second row on ice level. It was a magical moment of childhood restored for some very broken kids. All made possible by Tickets for Kids.
The ticketing experience has been flawless whether by email or E-Tickets. They are professional and good at communications. I recommend them to other non-profits that work with youth and am grateful for their import work.
