Tickets for Kids in an outstanding nonprofit. When I see an email from Tickets for Kids, I know that an exciting opportunity is in store for participants in our organization. I also know that they make the transfer of tickets and reporting after the fact as seamless and user friendly as possible.
Tickets for Kids is an incredible program! I have been lucky to work at a partner agency for many years and have experienced the magic of this program time and time again. Of course, the kids and families have a blast at all the super cool events and experiences they would likely not otherwise be able to attend, but the really cool part is everything that happens behind the scenes. Attending these activities often requires advance planning, organization, time management, and budgeting for things like parking, snacks, or souvenirs. Sometimes even just figuring out transportation to an event is a major undertaking, but families find ways to figure it out because the payoff is so high. And once they realize they can tackle these things for something fun, they realize they can utilize those same skills for everyday tasks too. The memories created and shared between parents and kids or classmates last long after the excursion is over and can be just as meaningful to the adults as the kids they bring to the events. Tickets for Kids provides a wide assortment of opportunities and there is truly something for everyone. It’s always extra special to see someone be exposed to a new experience/culture/artform for the first time and watch them be mesmerized. Many of the kids served by our program have spent time in foster care, experienced homelessness, or survived other challenges that leave them feeling “othered.” It’s amazing how something as simple as attending a play or a sporting event can bring them out of their shell and help them feel like they fit in with their peers. Tickets for Kids really is so much more than just a ticket!
As a nonprofit working with "at-risk" youth we needed incentives to get kids to do homework, be helpful in participating in chores and other positive things that would encourage life success. Most of our youth are low income and from dysfunctional families. Working with Tickets for Kids has been transformative to our program. Kids complete homework checks and chores each month and then we book a field trip with Tickets for Kids to reward them. We could not afford to do these trips with out Tickets for Kids.
Our teens have been to sporting events and museums. They've toured a lunar lander factory and the National Aviary. Their lives have been very enriched by the experiences and their lives improved by not falling behind in school due to the incentives. Our program has become much more like a family because we go on these "family outings" together. Field trips for us were rare for the past 24 years but this year they became a monthly trip during the school year and a weekly Friday trip in the summer.
Recently we took a younger group to Disney on Ice and we wound up being seated in the first and second row on ice level. It was a magical moment of childhood restored for some very broken kids. All made possible by Tickets for Kids.
The ticketing experience has been flawless whether by email or E-Tickets. They are professional and good at communications. I recommend them to other non-profits that work with youth and am grateful for their import work.

Tickets for Kids does amazing work. We are a residential program for teens that have experienced heavy trauma. This charity has donated so many great experiences for our teenagers for over 15 years. We have been gifted tickets to Broadway shows, sporting events, live stadium events (like Disney on Ice and Monster Trucks) and other events that our teens most likely would never have a chance to attend.
This charity does great work for the organizations and children they serve.

This is our first year taking advantage of Tickets for Kids and it has already had tremendous impact on our kids. They were able to experience Artechouse House Beyond the Lights NYC, , SeaQuest NJ and a NY Mets game. This helped our summer vacation camp kids have a wonderful experience. We service children located in one of, if not the most impoverished areas in the country, South Bronx, NY. Many of our children are at risk youth who might not otherwise have gotten such an exciting yet informative experience without TFK! Thank you for your service to all youth across the US!
Thanks to TFK we were able to take 30 students in our after school program to a Pirate's baseball game. Our students LOVED getting to experience the atmosphere of a live-sporting event. For most of our students this experience was a first: With such amazing seats, our students were able to participate in attempts to catch fly-balls, talk to players on the field during warm-ups, and try to catch a t-shirt from the t-shirt toss! The looks of pure joy and excitement on our students' faces speaks to the value of such an experience. It truly was a night for bonding and building relationships that our students and staff will never forget.
Youth First Community of Promise LOVES tickets for kids!
As a nonprofit that runs at no cost to the youth that we serve - this partnership with Tickets for Kids is vital! We have been able to allow our youth to visit a variety of events that we may otherwise would not have been able to offer. We are a residential treatment facility for adolescent males. TFK has provided tickets to sporting events and more. It shows them that people care about them. They provide opportunities that these guys have never had before, and they get to be regular teenagers for a while. TFK has given our clients opportunities they never would have had. I've included a picture of some of our clients getting ready to race in a corn pit on a trip we made to a fall festival, with tickets provided by TFK.
Tickets for Kids in an amazing organization! I first learned about the nonprofit when I taught at a charter school in Pittsburgh. They provided so many opportunities for students to experience events outside of their usual exposure. After moving to the Washington D.C. area, I was delighted to learn that Tickets for Kids had branched out, and immediately signed up to connect my school as an agency partner. Just like in Pittsburgh, the TFK organization has extended amazing opportunities to the kids of Washington D.C. - Highly recommended!
Tickets for Kids Charities is an outstanding organization, that provides opportunities for recreational and educational outing for youth. But, more so an excellent resource for organizations like My Daughter's Keeper of Tampa Bay, Inc. where a large percentage of the youth we serve, are from low income households. Many of the children and youth we serve, do not get the opportunity to participate in activities, such as those that Tickets for Kids Charities provides. We are beyond grateful for this organization.
As a teacher of 44 years, I have been very fortunate to have come across this nonprofit and given the opportunity to be part of this great organization. In the past, it was very frustrating to hear about events and know that our students could not participate due to funding. Thru Tickets for Kids our students were able to participate in the trip the Boundary Waters. This trip meant so much to these newcomers to the country. They experienced something they never imagined.
All the other trips have been amazing as well. Students are able to go to sports events(they otherwise could not afford), opera, musical events, and other shows. A huge shout out to all those sponsors who make these dreams possible for our students.

Our non-profit organization called The H.O.P.E Project operates in the Twin Cities. We work with communities that have experienced a disproportionate amount of trauma, crime and poverty. We help families secure affordable housing, we assist survivors of domestic violence and we provide mental health resources.
Tickets For Kids has been amazing in helping us! They provide wonderful activities and experiences that the children we service would not have the opportunity to partake in if not for them. The joy and excitement our families when attending events is so wonderful to see. The kids get to laugh and be free from drama if even for a little while and it's all because of Tickets for Kids! The staff is very accommodating and always accessible if we have questions or concerns. I am very grateful for this organization and I pray they are around to continue to help for many years to come.

Our children have lost their parents to death or incarceration and these children suffer. Tickets for kids give these families an outing that they may-not otherwise can’t afford as the case of one little girl who had just lost her mom two weeks prior. . These outings provide relief for a short while from the constant grief and isolation they feel! It gives them a moment to regroup. Joy is restored to the kids. They have something good to look forward to!
It's my honor to write a review on behalf of Tickets for Kids. Throughout this year, our families who come from a homeless environment, and most of them have never been exposed to the many events that they have been allowed to go through, have been such a blessing. It starts with mentors who take our children to baseball games like the Nationals and sets in amazing seats for parents who take their children to stage performances that they would never ever be able to do without the gift of donors through Tickets for Kids. We've even been able to allow fathers to have father-son dates with their children and mothers to have mother-daughter dates with their daughters, and vice versa. We've been going to soccer games and basketball games, and of course all the kids are hometown favorites, so they're always rooting for the home team, and that makes it very exciting. We've also been able to use the tickets as incentives for children to keep their grade level up. We advise them that a reward will come at the end of the week if they have reached their goal, at least reaching their prior grade level, doing their homework, and other things of that sort. The impact that Tickets for Kids is making on the lives of not only children but also their parents cannot be put into words. To quote one mother, “This is the best experience I’ve ever had in my life, and I think I was able to do it for free because someone loved us enough to get us a ticket.” We use the museum tickets as a culture-learning event. To say that tickets for kids are the best thing since apple pie would be misusing my words; they're the greatest thing in the entire world. Tickets for Kids has opened up a whole new world for our Hope and Home families. Attending these events is a far cry from what any of our families thought they would ever be able to do after living in the shelter for so many years. It's giving them great pride in themselves, too. So, I close this simply by saying thank you so much, Tickets for Kids, for making our lives so much better.

Something Cool, Inc., located in rural northern Minnesota has been tremendously gifted by the Tickets for Kids Charities ticket opportunities. Each year we are able to send all ages of children and family members to concerts, theater performances, sporting events, STEM and cultural events that they would otherwise never be able to access. For our families, TFK is the single facilitator of such opportunities. The coordination of tickets is efficient and gracious. The variety of experiences to our children is diverse, inclusive, educational and FUN, allowing us to informally build and strengthen relationships between supportive adults and children while exploring events and activities together.
Tickets for Kids is an amazing organization. I work in a Title1 school where funding is often limited. Many of my students come from low income families where extra experiences are not something that they can afford. This organization allows us to take our students to places like museums, plays, musicals, and sporting events. These are things that they would not be able to do without TFK! We have enriched our curriculum and mentoring program with opportunities for outings around the city. The impact TFK has had on my school is immense.

This is an organization that has always proven that kids are the top priority. Naomi's Place Transitional Housing (East End) has tremendously benefited from this organization for years. Some of the clients that we serve, would never have been able to experience at least 85% of the outings they participated in.
It has been such a joy being able to see the families get blessed in forms of entertainment, learning and bonding as a family. Monthly, we are referring this organization to as many people that will listen. It truly helps the families, especially the children take their focus off of their lives being in transition and every bit indeed helps.

Ticket for Kids is doing amazing work! They've helped us provide free tickets to super cool events to teen student parents and their kids across the DC-area. A lot of the kids wouldn't have experienced the events they attended (like the circus and sporting events) if it wasn't for Tickets for Kids. Our organization serves children whose parents are incarcerated or deceased. We have received tickets for events that many in our population are not able to afford. When we went to see Pawpatrol one of our little girls had just lost her dad. Being separated from your parent is traumatic and they need new fun memories asap to help give them hope and to make life an adventure. Her mom said it was the first time she had smiled!! Mission accomplished!
We are thankful that Tickets for Kids support our community! They have provided hundreds of tickets to events that our youth and families have been able to attend whereas they might not have had the opportunity to afford on their own. What an awesome charity this is!

As a non-profit Domestic Violence shelter, we have very little means for activities for our kiddos. Enter Tickets for Kids! In the last several years we have went on numerous field trips, including a suite at the MN Twins AND MN Wild!!! These are once in a lifetime opportunities for our families, and spreads a little happiness to folks who are coming from chaos. I can't stress enough how much we appreciate Tickets for Kids and all of the wonderful opportunities they have granted us!!!!

We love Tickets for Kids! Through this amazing organization we are able to take our youth on field trips we couldn't dream of being able to afford on our own like Twins Games, theatrical performances, Timberwolves games, holiday festivals, museums and more! Tickets for Kids partnered with MN Opera and PNC Bank to host a fantastic event for kids and their families. Opera Afuera took place at Allianz Field and through Tickets for Kids connected us with a wonderful group of attendees. We had a meal, shared a bilingual program introducing everyone to opera, and then went out to the stadium to enjoy the show! Kids (and some adults) got to use cowbells instead of applauding and they were a big hit. AND - courtesy of PNC Bank, each kid also went home with a soccer ball! I would definitely partner with them all again.
We serve families who are raising children with complex medical needs. These families are often sleep deprived and emotionally exhausted because of the worry and stress they have for their children. Our partnership with Tickets for Kids allows us to give our families a break from the stress of life and enjoy some much needed quality time together. It’s a win-win and we are grateful to offer these opportunities.
Tickets for Kids is a wonderful organization providing hope and inspiration for low-income and at risk children. An experience attending a ball game, visiting the zoo or a museum can make all the difference for a child to feel included and allow them to see a future for themselves. If they can see it, they can be it. I've been fortunate to attend an event with some children who met Misty Copeland, the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre. The girls describe their experience as "the best night of their lives" and a moment they will always remember. The girls felt valued and included in a special evening.
We have been working with Tickets for Kids for the last two years. We have enjoyed seeing the smiling faces and excitement as participants engage in our products on the lakes and in the parks. We can see that this charity is really making an impact in the community. As an organization, they have been super easy to work with and are great communicators. Looking forward to more years, and many memories, of collaboration!

I've been working with Tickets for Kids Charities for the last 18 months as a partner in offering tickets to outdoor opportunities in the Twin Cities Metro Area. Tickets for Kids has been an awesome partner to work with in helping to connect families to the healing nature of the outdoors. They have a broad connection to hundreds of social service agencies across the state, and they are diligent and creative in finding opportunities for folks to connect and build new memories together. Their staff are incredibly responsive, organized, and always on-top-of-things. It's a joy to work with them!

Tickets for Kids brought family groups to the Science Museum throughout our Year of the Engineer. Families from groups that are traditionally underrepresented at the museum, and that perhaps had never been to the museum, were invited through Tickets for Kids to bring their children here for special engineering experiences. One Saturday for example, we were showing the Omnitheater Film called Dream Big: Engineering our World and one of the featured engineers from the film was here for it's opening. We partnered with Tickets For Kids and some of their community groups to have a special meet and greet with a select group of girls with engineer Menzer Pehlivan. She told them all about her experience becoming an engineer and getting picked to be featured in this Omnitheater film. It was one of those really inspiring events where you could see the delight of the young girls connecting with Ms. Pehlivan in a small group, asking her questions and watching the film with her story with her.
We have been donating to Tickets for Kids Charities for the last 3 years. The work they do is heart-warming which brings a lot of smiles to kids faces all over the Twin Cities. Their communication is flawless and accurate and they make it incredibly simple to donate. They always stick within our parameters and make sure their groups are well-behaved. It has truly been a great partnership!
Tickets for Kids has been such a huge blessing to our mentor matches and our students' families! Our participants are provided with so many opportunities that they otherwise might not have access to. As our matches begin developing relationships with each other, it is so helpful to have tickets to a game, arcade, or museum to build connections between them! These shared experiences (and often new opportunities for our students) create a foundation for these matches to grow their relationship, build trust, and for the mentors to become a source of support for our youth. Our long-term matches often like to use these tickets so celebrate accomplishments together or even take a break from all of the college and scholarship applications to have fun together! Our families genuinely appreciate being able to take their kids to many events that they wouldn't be able to attend otherwise and have a chance to enjoy being in the community together. Tickets for Kids is an amazing program that helps to connect our low-income families to resources with in our communities that they never dream they will be able to be apart of. Whether as a large group, or an individual family, our kids have had opportunities to attend plays, Disney on Ice, trampoline parks, zoos, movies, sporting events and concerts. The opportunities have our kids glowing for days, since many don’t know how they are getting their next meal, but they actually got to go see a MN Vikings Game, a Taylor Swift concert or Monster Truck Rally!! These memories are everlasting and I can’t express enough gratitude for the impact you have had on these young lives and hearts. Our local representative here in Minnesota is so incredibly passionate about kids and all the programs Tickets for Kids serves. As Event and Program Support Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May County, I have the opportunity to see the good work that our volunteers do with their little brothers and little sisters. They give up their valuable time to work one on one with these children. Being a NON-PROFIT ourselves, there is no funding for event such as the ones Tickets for Kids is able to provide for our agency. Tickets for Kids gives our volunteers the opportunity to share a wonderful experience with their Little Brother/Sister, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend an event such as these. I am the director of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 Sto- Rox Family Center. I was delighted to first learn about TFK over 20 years ago when I began working at AIU3 family centers. I was amazed that a service like TFK was helping financially struggling families who were missing out on providing cultural and entertainment experiences for their children because they could not afford tickets.
When I was a young widowed mom raising 3 boys, I would have loved for my own children to have experienced some of the many different events TFK has helped children to attend. Back then, as a single mom I could not afford to take my kids to Disney on Ice, the circus, baseball games, museums and other types of events that entertain children and create happy family memories and even traditions, like yearly summer outings to Kennywood Park or holiday traditions like seeing the Nutcracker ballet at the Benendum center.
So today, for me as a site director who is able to apply to TFK for tickets for the children of families we service, it is an honor and something I especially enjoy. I am so grateful to the founders who established this charity and to the many staff, ticket donators and volunteers who keep the program going and who have worked to extend the service to other cities and states.
The Sto-Rox family center provides family support services to families with young children in McKees Rocks and nearby communities. Most of the families we work with are low income. Tickets for kid friendly events and shows are a luxury that they cannot afford. So being able to receive tickets to events that most of their children never expected to be able attend is of course a gift they are extremely grateful to receive. When I see the smiles on the parents’ faces and hear the laughter of their children when I chaperone them to TFK events I feel privileged to be part of something that brings so much joy to families that need a break.
I really appreciate that the families we serve can choose from such a wide variety of entertainment, cultural and opportunities to learn events. The center has been able to take the families to places like Ligonier caves, Kennywood, Idlewild Park, Children’s museum, Science museum, PNC Park, Peter Pan Ballet, Scrooge musical, Sister Act musical, Steeler football games. Penguins games, a special Disney sensory concert for our autistic children, and so many other events that the families would not have experienced and enjoyed without help from TFK.
The families we serve are low income, and making donations to charities like TFK is something their budgets cannot afford. But if they could, they would open their pockets wide to show their appreciation for the many ways TFK has benefitted their children. Our parent council sold cookie jar mixes one year to raise money to donate to TKF. The council did not raise a lot of money. However, when the parents and children were welcomed by TFK at their office in Blanox the families were treated like they were big time donors. The parents, children and center staff enjoyed visiting the office to meet the staff and see for themselves that there are real caring people who work to ensure that needy kids receive tickets that make their lives a little brighter
Hello, I am honored to write a review about the Cornerstone Advocacy Services' experience with 'Tickets for Kids'. Cornerstone Advocacy Services serves families and youth who have experienced domestic violence, sex trafficking/exploitation and human trafficking. We have an emergency shelter, transitional housing and many other services we provide for families who have been traumatized. 'Tickets for Kids' provides a much needed outlet for our youth to gain exposure to some great events that they may not normally have access to after coming out of some horrible life changing events. Often times our youth are coming from families who are experiencing financial hardship and may have more than one sibling in the home. 'Tickets for Kids' makes it convenient for our staff to provide some quality activities to our youth and put a smile on their faces. 'Tickets for Kids' staff are efficient and friendly and provide multiple events almost daily to choose from as well as a variety of activities for different ages, cultural backgrounds and all genders!! Our youth love all the activities that they attend through 'Tickets for Kids'!! While our staff are able to take our youth to these events, parents know that their kids are safe and are having a great time. We Love 'Tickets for Kids' and feel so Blessed to have a partnership with this PHENOMENAL AGENCY!!!! Toinette L. Tickets for Kids has been such a blessing to our After-School/Tutoring Program at Pentecostal Temple Development Corporation for a number of years. As the Director of the Program, I know first hand, how our children, their families and the staff have had numerous opportunities made available to them for lasting, enriching memories that would have not been otherwise possible, without the generous donations provided. Many of the children are from low-income households, which resources are limited, so having these tickets available has been an extra incentive to our program, along with a benefit for the families participating.
Most of all, the exposure has been so well rounded to venues such as various cultural events (operas, live productions, concerts & plays); professional sports at NFL games, baseball, hockey and Polo, along with the social activities, which they thoroughly enjoy, like the Science Center, Children's Museum, flower show, Aviary, Zoo and Disney, just to name a few. Through all the donors that have made this possible, we are truly grateful and thankful for this opportunity, with such irreplaceable memories.
Tickets for kids are the best thing to happen to our organization. We run a program for kids ages 3-18 in the inner cities. It is very hard to get them to do things because of the financial situation all their families are in. T4K came along and help us eliminate that problem and also to add culture and just different things to enrich their lives and give them hope for a different future. We can't thank them enough. PATH and Kindred Family Focus, which licenses therapeutic foster and adoptive homes in Minnesota and North Dakota for the care and nurture of children who are unable to remain with their family-of-origin, have been the appreciative recipients of tickets for athletic events, concerts, movies, theatrical performances, recreational activities, and museum and zoo admissions through Tickets for Kids. Kids and families who participate in Faribault (MN) Youth Services Center programs have benefitted in immeasurable ways from Tickets for Kids . Arlington Hills CC are so thankful for Ticket for Kids Charities. Especially from the community that we are located. Some of these kids don't get to experience this due to income and transportation. Tickets for Kids has been a wonderful resource for our organization (Sisters Place) over the years. TFK has been an amazing way that our small mentoring non profit can provide exciting and free access for our mentor matches to attend a wide range of events and activities in the twin cities area. This is important for us as it breaks down an access barrier for our mentor matches, but also allows our small staff to focus on other tasks of our job. In addition alike all small non profits this reduces a financial barrier that our agency would other wise not be able to provide. They do great work for so many agencies and so many have benefited from these amazing donations to our programs and the activities they otherwise would not be able to attend!
Our relationship with Tickets for Kids predates my tenure with the Pittsburgh Pirates but they have been an integral partner. They allow our season ticket holders to donate their unused tickets and give thousands of children, who otherwise likely could not, the opportunity to attend a baseball game. We look forward continuing our relationship and impacting future Pirates for seasons to come.
During the hockey season, I have the privilege of interacting with Tickets for Kids Charities almost daily! The entire process is seamless – from the initial ticket donation by our organization or season ticket holder through the post-event follow up. Our Family Support center has been partnering with Tickets For Kids Charities for the past six years. This has been such a wonderful experience for the families with whom we work. The children have had such wonderful opportunities to attend events and functions that really enrich their lives. The families are so thankful for these opportunities. They are thrilled to be able to provide a special trip for their children. Some of our favorite trips have been: Idlewild Park, Pumpkin Farm Trips, Consol Energy special events, and The Pgh Zoo.

I stated my new job as the Program Director of the Northview Heights Family Support Center in December of last year. I wanted to have some fun things to do with families enrolled at our Support Center. I had worked with Tickets for Kids a few years back and got in contacted with them right away. I have not been disappointed! This summer has been great. We were able to take families to Pirate's games, the presentation "How to Train Your Dragon", the Zoo and other activities. For one mother from Kenya attending a Pirate's game was very meaningful and memorable because it was the first professional baseball game she had ever attended and she was able to take her two young sons. Seeing the joy on that mother's face at being able to do something so simple was so inspiring. We plan to use Tickets for Kids this fall as part of a rewards program that we are starting for families that show their dedication to the center by being involved. The Northview Heights Family Support Center is so thankful to Tickets for Kids because they offer our families a chance to participate in activities that they would not be able to other wise.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America is so grateful to Tickets for Kids for being a fantastic resource in helping BGC kids across the country receive opportunities that they may not otherwise receive. Over the years, our partnership with Tickets For Kids has added tremendous value to the programs we offer to our Club members at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania. They have made a significant contribution in providing quality experiences to places and to events that many of our children would never have experienced. Seeing children's faces with excited expressions and bubbling conversations while riding a bus with friends on their way to Idlewild Park, or seeing them cheering on their favorite sports team at a local stadium while eating a hotdog, or participating in hands-on activities at the Science Center, you know that Tickets For Kids is an organization making a positive difference here in the Pittsburgh area. We are a proud partner with them in the effort of making our children's lives better, of fulfilling some of the dreams children have, and providing life experiences that are rewarding.

We had a great time at a recent Pens game we were able to attend through tickets we got from Tickets for Kids. You all make it possible to inspire these students and give them good thoughts and dreams ... how do I thank you for all of that? I never can, but I can see it in the eyes of the children and how it changes how they see themselves. Incredible!
We have received tickets twice from Tickets for Kids as a referral from Cirque du Soleil. One agency for foster children and on which I serve as board secretary; and another student enterprise nonprofit, for which I received the Volunteer of the Year Award 2004-2005 were recipients. We saw Delirium several years ago; and last year we saw Corteo. Both groups of children and parents were most grateful for having received tickets to experience the magic of Cirque du Soleil. We are most grateful to Tickets for Kids as both recipient agencies are located in Los Angeles, CA and the foundation is in Pittsburgh. You see distance is not a hinderance. This is a great group and we appreciate them very much. The children now know what possibilities there are for creation of music, costumes, stories, and entertainment that is not ordinary.
I used to be the Program Coordinator for a Partnering Agency for Tickets for Kids Foundation. The level of opportunities they provide for students is really incredible. My students and their families have recieved tickets to go Bowling, see the Black Nativity, go to the Symphony, go to a Pirate Game, visit the Zoo and see the Diary of Anne Frank (after they provided us with the books for the students to read first). They're really an asset to the community.
