K9SWAT is an amazing organization that is very near and dear to my heart! I work directly with retired and active duty military patients at a treatment facility in the area. For years now, Catherine, her wonderful team, and the pups in training have volunteered their time to provide a positive outlet for our patients. Not only do our service members enjoy the company of the dogs in training, but K9SWAT provides opportunities for our patients to get involved in the community after discharge. I will always support this organization’s mission and have made lifelong friends as a bonus :)
