I have known Gardner's House and it's founder, Margarita (Maggie) Gardner for a number of years. Gardner's House works tirelessly to help cancer survivors receive basic needs of housing, clothing, food, counseling and whatever else is needed. I am a member of Woman of Hope and every year WOH provides a turkey and fixings for about 15 of Gardner's House cancer survivors and their families because Gardner's House wants to make sure each of them have a happy holiday. Gardner's House cares about the cancer survivors it helps and strives to provide care and guidance to cancer survivors who have limited financial and social support.
