I’m Rachel Bennett, founder of Caring by Card, and organization and soon-to-be non-profit that aims to alleviate the loneliness elderly and disabled people who live in nursing homes feel by inspiring people to make and send homemade cards to the nursing homes we sponsor each month. A Bright Spot has collaborated with us several times. Most recently, A Bright Spot volunteers shipped out 70 homemade cards to the Manor Care Nursing Home in Arkansas! We needed them done and Dee reached out to her team and within days they were mailed. They are an amazing organization which sends cards to people who are suffering and need some love and they do exactly what they promise in their name: Deliver a Bright Spot in someone’s day, especially those who need it most! I love working with them. Thank you A Bright Spot for what you do!
