I found Hand in Hand when my first kid was about a year old and I was desperately looking for ways to get her to sleep that didn't involve letting her cry it out.
And Hand in Hand hasn't only helped our family get enough sleep again, it changed my whole life.
One of the things that really set Hand in Hand apart from other parenting approaches is that the organization doesn't only want to help parents with raising their kids but also wants to help parents get the support they themselves need. Parenting is undervalued, underappreciated and sometimes lonely. Parents need support in doing their important work and Hand in Hand helped me build a network of support for myself that has carried me through many tough times. It has helped me heal many old wounds, which had not only improved my relationship with my kids but also every other relationship in my life.
