Starlight has been a part of Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach as a partner for more than 30 years. When a child faces a serious illness or injury, it can often be an emotional and stressful experience, even in the best possible care. Starlight’s partnership has been invaluable in allowing us to create countless moments where children can experience joy and distraction during their medical journeys. From toy deliveries that bring smiles to children’s faces, to special events that allow them to forget, even if just for a moment, that they’re in a hospital – Starlight has been a source of light for us all.
