Wounded Warriors Family Support is an amazing nonprofit. My husband was injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. After coming home from these deployments he became a police officer for our hometown. Unfortunately, he was shot between the eyes while responding to a police call. At the time our children were 2 and 4 years old. I was a full time elementary school teacher. Due to the severity of his injuries I have not been able to return to work full time. I contacted WWFS to see what support the could offer. Teri went above and beyond to help our family resources. She wasn't judgmental and only offered encouragement. We are extremely thankful for this organization.
