Review for Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue, Renton, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

If you are seriously thinking about adopting I would 💯 ASTR! Just be sure because they will call you the next day, make sure your references and Vet are aware that they will be calling. After they check references there will be a meet and greet, bring your dogs if you have them to meet their new family member. If all goes well you will be snuggled up with your new pooch that week! There is a contract, but all it really says is if the people or person you would take care of your pet in the event of your untimely demise are unable to do so, ASTR will take the pet back and care for them no matter their age or condition. I think that really speaks to what they are doing to help pets in need. My beautiful Iris came with homemade food and a thorough veterinary record. Teeth cleaned by veterinarian, spayed and immunized. Yes the adoption fee is on the higher end but the money you would spend on those veterinary services would be equal if not more than the adoption fee. They rescue dogs from deaths door, given up on by people who see them not as special beings but profit. If you are on the fence, don’t be, if you really want to adopt find your special pet from ASTR! You will never regret it!!!! (Iris is in the snazzy red jacket!)
