Although the expression “a friend in need is a friend indeed” is considered a platitude, Gardner’s House Inc. in its community endeavors, truly exemplifies the spirit of this expression. Since 2007, the organization has been helping people affected by cancer by supporting their basic needs including paying their overdue bills such as electricity, gas, rent, and food.

Gardner's House, Inc. also caters to all cancer survivors who come to its door and refer families affected by non-cancer diagnoses by assisting them with applications for the Hartford Larrabee Fund which helps women, especially those suffering from medical issues.

Gardner’s House, Inc., helps to alleviate personal feelings of being perplexed, depressed, and worried by shining a metaphorical light in the lives of individuals during their darkest days. Throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic era, Gardner’s House found a way to continue assisting families affected by cancer. This non-profit supports an extremely worthy cause.
