Hunger Fight is one of the best organizations I have ever had the privilege of being associated with. How can you not love an organization that cares about two groups that are vastly under-served - kids and the elderly?
The two-pronged mission of feeding the bellies, feeding the brain, is the basis of everything they do. This organization provides food and books for tens, if not hundreds of thousands of kids and elderly throughout the United States.
Sherri and Dean Porter have done a magnificent job in getting this program started and taking it's message throughout the US. What started as a small non-profit in the Jacksonville area has now grown to serving people in many states.
Their packing events, aka three hours of controlled chaos, are wonderful! They are a great team building exercise and a great way to get people together to support a fabulous cause.
I have been honored to be associated with Hunger Fight and help to raise awareness for this amazing company.
