HungerFight supported our first food packing event at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine in 2017. The event was a total success, involved all age groups in our church, and promoted a lasting sense of our outreach mission to our community. We will schedule another, larger one in 2018 and will ask HungerFight to support this one, too, because of the wonderful, personal, teamwork between our congregation and HungerFight. They truly live out Jesus' commandment to care for the poor and the hungry.

Hunger Fight was so extremely organized. We hosted an event to pack and provide 1 million meals for the Utah Food Bank. I was impressed by their ability to be efficient with both the time and resources necessary to coordinate the thousands of volunteers. Their hearts are in the right place as well. Highly recommend!

One of the few charities where you feel like you’re making a real difference. Fantastic leadership that has ensured a health and consistent growth for the organization over the last 7 years. I can’t wait to see Hunger Fight in every state, and hopefully in every country!

This was an incredible event ! Easy to participate in and very organized and straightforward. The meals we assembled were simple and entire family could participate in making. Also the recipients of the meals could make easily (a child could make for himself in the absence of an adult present). Fighting hunger is a world problem . But with organizations like this they break it down to a manageable task we all can contribute to!

I was so impressed at how organized this event was. I wondered how it would be possible to provide 1 million meals in such a short timespan, but they had it all figured out. With the bulk bags of ingredients lining the walls, tables setup with easy to use equipment, and staff on hand to make it run smoothly. I work for a nonprofit that feeds hungry children on the weekends, and believe me, I was taking notes. They really have it figured out!

We had a lot of fun helping to prepare the meals and meeting new people. The only thing that bothered me is that those managing the tables weren't very consistent with how they were doing things. We had been placed at two different tables and the first one felt like it had a good flow and people were enjoying it and getting the work done fast. The second one felt very rigid and if we weren't going fast enough then people were complaining and they were more picky about how things had to be done. This is a volunteer thing and so I know it won't be perfect, but lets do what we can to make it enjoyable so that people will have a good experience and not walk away thinking how uncoordinated things were and felling like they just finished a day at work, when they should be leaving feeling like they had a great time and are excited for the next opportunity to serve.

Hunger Fight made possible the service project I recently helped with. We assembled 1,058,000 macaroni and cheese packets for hungry Utahns. The project was so much fun! Everything was set up when I arrived so I just jumped right in where they assigned me. When it slowed down I found other ways to help so I could stay busy. It felt good to get together with strangers and work together for a good cause. I’d love to do it again!

My girls and I had a great time volunteering last weekend, helping to package over 1 million meals to benefit the Utah Food Bank! Thank you for all you do!

It was great to see so many volunteers put to work. A problem we encountered was grape vine instruction that ended up half sugar and half oatmeal for the cereal . It was wasteful and unhealthy. A laminated card on the table would have improved quality. Thsnks for the opportunity to serve.

It was so great to participate in packing more than 1 million meals in two days, at Silicon Slopes Tech Summit! I had a lot of fun with all the great people that helped on my line! I wish I’d have had more than 1 hour to help!

Well organized when we arrive with helpful staff. Today's event was a team building event for my team. They kicked butt! They made a competitive game out of it and asked to stay longer. They laughed together and worked hard together. We will be back next year. I'm coming Friday night with my kids. We came last year as well as a family. Such an easy way to serve with kids.

My grandkids went with me as a birthday gift to me. They are ages 11,10 and 8. It was well run and so easy for each one of us to do one chore. There was not a lot of waiting around bored time signing up. It was a wonderful gift.

The set up was excellent. Training quick and simple. Music was great. Bringing in groups in stages worked very well. If we can have supplies to refill stacked against wall so we can refill without finding someone would be great

The Hunger Fight meal packing event was very well organized and appeared to be very successful! I think more advertising for their organization would help as I was not aware of them or what they do.
