My husband and I make a point of attending one couples' weekend at AMR's Lawton Place Manor every year. The inn and surrounding area are beautiful and there are plenty of places to explore if you are like my husband and just can't do nothing for 3 days, while I am content curl up with a book, relax, and give my ears a rest from my son's constant chatter, so we split the time between being out and about and hanging out at the inn. We also enjoy interacting with other couples. Also, Lawton Place Manor has a beautiful kitchen so you can fix your own meals if you prefer to do so.
