I was on the waitlist several times and not feeling much hope I would get in. As a caregiver for a husband on disability, an adult son on the spectrum and up until last year also my aging mom, I needed a break. My mom passed mid-year and I needed a place to grieve. When an opening came up for 'Cynthia's Chance' I knew it was God reserving it for me - Cynthia! It was the perfect blending of meeting the other wives and mom's and comparing stories and socializing, but also created space for me to have what I needed on my own without feeling the need for a schedule or other demands on my time. I am SO VERY grateful for this place and all it offers.
