Thanks to the St. Christopher Truckers Development & Relief Fund, we were able to keep our water running, electricity on, and vehicles from being repossessed. In June, I had a heart attack while at a truck stop in Indianapolis. I was rushed into emergency surgery at a nearby heart hospital, and my life was saved after multiple flatlines and 4 inserted stents. I am now going through 6 months of cardiac rehab, and am unable to get behind the wheel of a truck. This has caused our financial situation to become very difficult to handle. We were on the verge of losing our vehicles, electricity, water and car insurance. Thanks to the St. Christopher Truckers Fund, we were able to make it through the struggle.
