I always love receiving my Animal Place newsletter with its touching stories of farm animals leading the kind of dignified and comfortable lives all farm animals should have. It is sad when an animal passes on but so wonderful to know they had some time of being loved and appreciated. The friendships they develop with each other are a testament to the fact that living beings benefit from attachments they develop and should always have access to.
