Crossroads of Michigan is the only soup kitchen open on Sundays in the city of Detroit. Our corporation sponsors the soup kitchen one Sunday each year. This volunteer event is always an eye opener to how many live with food insecurity in the city of Detroit. Crossroads has not only impacted me, but my husband and kids as well, as they always accompany me to this event each year. Crossroads has a clothes closet, food pantry and provides personal hygiene items to clients. They also have a great team who helps clients who are dealing with crises. Their work helps to stabilize clients and help them with the resources they need. The team at Crossroads is the best!
