Hi my name is Helen, folks call me Cookie, I have a history with Union Gospel Mission, which started 54 years ago at the age of 10. Then and now, this place of hope and love gave, not with just clothes and food but with the spirit of God, loving and compassionate. Serving others is the greatest gift that involves others need instead of our own. I serve in the Women's Clothes closet, each time I see the women that come through our doors, my heart is overwhelmed. One verse that reflects the Union Gospel Mission, "What we proclaim is not of ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:5. I reflect back, to that 10 year old girl, that was clothed, feed, God is love
