It is wonderful to serve amongst volunteers who do not see addiction, homelessness, color, or filth, but only see what Jesus does. Lost, broken, needy men and women. Jesus came to serve with all His life and in turn asks us to do so. I treasure the many opportunities offered at the Union Gospel Mission to show people that they are valued, important, needed and wanted.
