Atlanta Glow has really helped me out of some tough situations in my life while also teaching me a variety of skills to build me up and prevent me from being in those situations again.It has been such a light in my life and had helped me shine for others in my life. For example, the first program I was joined was the financial literacy program and that was at a time where my mom could barely afford to pay the bills, buy food, get her five kids to school, and go to work. She just did not have the resources. However, Atlanta Glow provided me with bus cards which helped get me to school and helped my mom get to work. They also provided hygiene products which removed a hefty expense from my mother's monthly bills. All the while, they were teaching me valuable financial skills. After the sessions, I would go and tell my mom and my friends about what I learned, so they benefited from the program as well. At the end of the program, they gave me a stipend and I used it to help buy food and school supplies for my siblings and I. Every step of the way Atlanta Glow was directly impacting my family in a huge way. I'll stay here for as long as I can. Love you Ashlie!
